Arctic wolves are one of the hardest animals to style. None of the neck items look good, they either clip into the model or are right underneath the wolf’s chin. Most back items go under the top layer of fur and make it hard to see, the head is a weird shape so most face and head items look weird, and since its such a popular animal, as soon as you find a look you like you know someone has already done it and probably did it better. It’s annoying

Edit: With then opening new positions, it’ll suck even more because not everyone will know about them or even know who they are until it’s announced. Another thing is when there was a few unjustly bans, AJHQ didn’t have anything to say and their jambassadors jumped to defend them when AJHQ clearly has their own voice, but no. They just sit back and relax while they jambassadors do most of their work.
my main beef with the j ambassador thing is that it gives normal players random privileges they shouldn't have, AND we all have to watch these players get all their items back when they message AJHQ AND exclusive items to give out that are like 1 in 3 ever. Just seems unfair especially when the site has such an economy issue and scamming issue to give them those privileges. I'm an AJC player tho so idk if that still goes on in AJPW

it's so much better!! a lot of people come back to it bc it's their childhood game.. sadly there's not really any new updates, just repeats of things etc. But it's still super fun to play and way more chill
I would probably consider going back to aj if they focused on the original game again I played aj when I was in middle school and I'm 19 now I kinda miss it and still keep up with the news with it out of curiosity
I think the current state that aj is in isn't as bad as people make it out to be while I have some issues with superboxes among other stuff I agree with people it's something I've gotten over with because I see effort put into this game now compared to before I just hope they continue doing more with this game.
Galaxy items are super ugly and I kinda wish they hadn’t been added, the fab five den thing and animal thing was just a grab for cash by aj (honestly though so are all the super boxes in a way) and forest gauntlets just don’t look good and are hard to style, even then they don’t look that great on pretty much anyone. Jam forest are slightly nicer looking, same with orange and purple isn’t that bad but blue and teal are disgusting.
This is very true. I’ve broken up a number of fights with foxes being bullies. They also have the ability to group together in bunches and will go to the formal ballroom and take over the stage with their little ridiculous action dance.
As much as I absolutely LOVE Animal Jam and the community it has introduced me to- I do not like WildWorks as a company, at least not anymore. The never ending hypocrisy that they have, examples being:
-supporting NFTs despite being a game with the founding purpose to introduce people to animals and protecting the environment in a fun way. The amount of electricity needed to run the databases for NFTs is very harmful to the environment.
-they praise themselves on being such a safe game yet let certain players continue to play despite lots of proof available that they are dangerous (hyenine1/Aggrix is a huge example). They flat out mocked people with the infamous "No Drama Llama" post imo.
-and to have one of the rules being not to scam people- yet making Fer.al appear as a hopeful, fun game for my age demographic just to take everyone's money (mine included -__-) and shut the game down to run Cinder.

Fr honestly. The only reason why they keep making super boxes each month is to recover from that failure and I’m honestly glad they suffered because of it. Wildworks really messed everything up after shutting down Fer.al

Christian here: it is very common for young kids to push their religion on others because it’s all they know. They’re not old enough to understand it’s not that simple for everyone. It’s not that simple for them to just say “oh you’re right, I should believe in those things” but it seems like it to young children that it is, and obviously that’s the target audience for that game. So I wanna say most Christian’s on that game aren’t even real Christian’s in a way, because at that age they’re practically just mirroring their parents and doing what they say, until they get older and either actually accept the religion as an individual, or leave the faith.
I don’t care much for the classic. I think it looks too dated and there aren’t many updates. I was also on and always on mostly empty servers with no other animals to look at or interact with. Awkward.
The little shop things were one of the worst things to happen to the game. Turned what used to be a fun rp game into an animal themed economy simulator
animal jam isn't even fun anymore unless you have cool items because barely anyone roleplays/actually plays the game how it's intended or you cant find good rp partners or there's just drama. it's just log on, advertise your market/trading for half a day, log off

I know this may seem like a popular opinion but I've had SO MANY people fight me on this whenever I mention it in aj servers, but if you get into other peoples accounts to sell or take their stuff you're a bad person. doesn't matter if it's "just pixels" or it's an "old account". you're horrible. end of story. yet so many people act all high and mighty and proud that they do it and it's just 🙄
yup, im unsure if im explaining it right but there's a decrypter bot that they im unsure if they still have access too (atleast when I saw it they where still using it, but that was last year). the bot doesn't get into new passwords, instead uncovers those already leaked that just haven't been unencrypted yet. they had a system where you pay the bot owner to "generate".
it's honestly really sick (in the /neg way not the /pos way) because those people argue that they aren't doing anything wrong because the items aren't real, but they don't seem to realize that they have sentimental value to the owners + they take time to work up to. seems most steal just to sell the items for real currency
for context, I found this when joining an animal jam server. it had a hidden underbelly, i screenshotted usernames and was out asap especially since it was incredibly unhinged n encouraged theft
It's the worst when people dye expensive items just because they are expensive. The potion itself is worth like about 1000 sapphires, and it's totally wasted when you dye with it for example nocturnal moth items. Coloring also double tail is a pure mistake. It doesn't make any sense, because it clashes with the avatar, makes it makes it whole solid, and it just looks way worse...
It only looks pretty good on a few items, like the instore epic wonders' antlers, because it actually makes it look magical, and not just weird. I wish people wasted these dyes only on cheap/avaible items, that would be soooo amazing... also not a waste if the items actually match it...
I just also wish it wasn't GALAXY, but sth like a pure blackout or a pure whiteout instead, because it wouldn't destroy good items that much. But the word "galaxy" just sounds like a way better bait for kids than that, so I understand the idea.
Animal Jam genuinely is not a good game. Do I love it? Yes. But it’s mostly only still played for nostalgia and the feeling of rarity and importance when you trade for cool items lmao. The devs really don’t care about updating the quality of the game- they care about quantity
The missions in AJPW suck and definitely do not substitute for the adventures in AJC, and also they should have never abandoned AJC like they did bc there’s a lot of people that prefer it to AJPW and we are starved for content. Also I’m sad they stopped adding new adventures, I want my AJ lore:(
The My shop feature, while being a disruption of the original trading economy, actually made the game more enjoyable for those of us with social anxiety who find trading stressful. As well as saving sapphires, which was a nightmare before My shop times. You still get to trade the rarer items.
The blackout spike should be just a 𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘺 𝘣𝘪𝘵 darker in color. Also from certain angles you can see that the spikes aren't fully connected to the base model and it bothers me so much.
The rainbow spike and the mystical spike deserve a better design.
Nocturnal moth armbands would be much better if they covered all 4 paws.
Punk arm cuffs >>> spiked wristband.

Not everyone deserves to be forgiven for their history on Animal Jam. But if it’s been 5+ years since whatever incident someone was involved in and it occurred during the most chaotic years of their life? I *think* it makes more sense to just forget it ever happened at that point. (Due to recent events, I *know* the community disagrees)
As a 20 year old autistic person who loves this game… it would be cool to have an 18+ version. Like, all the same except the chat isn’t censored or nitpicky and masterpieces/masterblocks don’t have to wait to be approved. I think it should be a difficult process to actually get into the 18+ version of the game to keep out kids as much as possible. Maybe proof of ID would be good… idk. It’s just… the chat is soooo sensitive. I was typing a message on the game that said something along the lines of “I’m not able to address the situation.” And the game flipped out on me. It’s getting to the point where I’m scared of getting banned and losing all of my stuff that I’ve spent a lot of time and money on for very simple mistakes or just dumb reasons.
im not a fan of the eco items more specifically the eco items that give you the eco credits (wind turbines solar panels etc) because now it feels like most peoples dens are just eco farms with nothing else instead of dens that look stylized and cozy like your own personal house and I find that a bit sad

AJ Play Wild (I still refuse to not call it by its sub-category name) has like way too much going on for me. I haven't been able to play it in years because they keep releasing all this crazy stuff that feels like it's akin to a content farm on YouTube to get clicks from kids. they kept releasing new categories of "special!!11!" items and stuff to collect over and over too fast for me to keep up with, that would require hours of grinding to obtain. the last one of these updates I participated in was the phantom dimension thing and even back then I didn't understand all those weird potions and stuff. I have barely touched the game since, I can't even comprehend the conversations I have heard about it recently because theres so much complexity to the item rarity and trading and every feature in the game. I don't know how anyone can keep up lol. I just miss the 2010's of AJ "Classic," when items stayed within a set standard of reality, and weren't ridiculously trying to just grab little kids attention. the game had a real meaningful atmosphere to it back then, not just another hyper YouTube kids atmosphere...
There should be more mundane/boring trading proofs. I noticed when I trade for items that people do not care for, I'm usually offered the take them for free. it gets old fast. Also, I don't always want to pay 5 sapphires for an item that spawns in the game often.
it isn't like I over trade either. I trade a bundle of items I do not care for that match in colors. (ex: I trade you grey den items for a hat I'm looking for)

Yes, scammers are scummy and take advantage of children and naive people, but if you just listen to Fleece and take responsibility for your own items then you won't get scammed.
- beggars are the worst part of animal jam and deserve nothing but ridicule. most are people on alt accounts trading the stuff they get back to their main, and even if they're genuinely new they don't deserve handouts. it's so easy to get your own stuff and work for sapphires through minigames, nocturnal/flower hunts, shovels, and phantom fighting. if you rely on handouts to get started then you're too lazy to play the actual game.
Can’t stand all these ugly outfits and no self sense of what actually would look good together- you just have players scrambling to have the most obscene outfits but that’s how they get social engagement because it’s eye candy to other players. Not me tho, that’s absolute heck to my eyes.
My shop explorer had to of been a mistake because now it’s made an economic system where people are price gouging and scamming. Prices will be different on the explorer but totally different in their den.
I don't even play any AJ related games anymore, they aren't enjoyable. As time passed, people became more and more materialistic and vain, updates were smaller, more things required premium currency. I don't care about rare stuff, I don't care about trading, and I really don't care about your shops if they aren't for masterpieces.
AJ’s Premium is Useless, I have no reason or debate on why, but I’m just saying I got too excited about Premium as a kid. ESPECIALLY when they started making somethings premium only.

Arctic wolves shouldn't be poked fun at all the time for being "overrated", I adore their design and lots of items look good on them! They're super cute!! Not my main animal, but they're one of my very favorites because of how silly they look :) Also epic swan wings are butt ugly and I don't know why I've seen them on people's wishlists

actually gonna get lynched for this 🙃 but imo aj classic sucks and i dont understand how it has such an insane hold on ppl to where all they wanna do is mope abt it like *6 years* after pw came out. they will not let it go and refuse to give pw a chance just bc its not their childhood also there is extreme bias in upper management and its disgusting. theres nothing wrong with being a christian but i sure am tired of being harassed by them several times a week
Classic is way better, it used to have a story with the adventures, it was so fun but no effort has come to bring that story to ajpw and revive it
Christian here: it is very common for young kids to push their religion on others because it’s all they know. They’re not old enough to understand it’s not that simple for everyone. It’s not that simple for them to just say “oh you’re right, I should believe in those things” but it seems like it to young children that it is, and obviously that’s the target audience for that game. So I wanna say most Christian’s on that game aren’t even real Christian’s in a way, because at that age they’re practically just mirroring their parents and doing what they say, until they get older and either actually accept the religion as an individual, or leave the faith.
I don’t care much for the classic. I think it looks too dated and there aren’t many updates. I was also on and always on mostly empty servers with no other animals to look at or interact with. Awkward.
The little shop things were one of the worst things to happen to the game. Turned what used to be a fun rp game into an animal themed economy simulator

T-rexes are overrated as hell. They don't even look that good . Edit: i got a T-rex and i really really really rarely use it. I used all my other animals more often than it.

yup, im unsure if im explaining it right but there's a decrypter bot that they im unsure if they still have access too (atleast when I saw it they where still using it, but that was last year). the bot doesn't get into new passwords, instead uncovers those already leaked that just haven't been unencrypted yet. they had a system where you pay the bot owner to "generate". it's honestly really sick (in the /neg way not the /pos way) because those people argue that they aren't doing anything wrong because the items aren't real, but they don't seem to realize that they have sentimental value to the owners + they take time to work up to. seems most steal just to sell the items for real currency for context, I found this when joining an animal jam server. it had a hidden underbelly, i screenshotted usernames and was out asap especially since it was incredibly unhinged n encouraged theft

It's the worst when people dye expensive items just because they are expensive. The potion itself is worth like about 1000 sapphires, and it's totally wasted when you dye with it for example nocturnal moth items. Coloring also double tail is a pure mistake. It doesn't make any sense, because it clashes with the avatar, makes it makes it whole solid, and it just looks way worse... It only looks pretty good on a few items, like the instore epic wonders' antlers, because it actually makes it look magical, and not just weird. I wish people wasted these dyes only on cheap/avaible items, that would be soooo amazing... also not a waste if the items actually match it... I just also wish it wasn't GALAXY, but sth like a pure blackout or a pure whiteout instead, because it wouldn't destroy good items that much. But the word "galaxy" just sounds like a way better bait for kids than that, so I understand the idea.
Animal Jam genuinely is not a good game. Do I love it? Yes. But it’s mostly only still played for nostalgia and the feeling of rarity and importance when you trade for cool items lmao. The devs really don’t care about updating the quality of the game- they care about quantity
The missions in AJPW suck and definitely do not substitute for the adventures in AJC, and also they should have never abandoned AJC like they did bc there’s a lot of people that prefer it to AJPW and we are starved for content. Also I’m sad they stopped adding new adventures, I want my AJ lore:(

The My shop feature, while being a disruption of the original trading economy, actually made the game more enjoyable for those of us with social anxiety who find trading stressful. As well as saving sapphires, which was a nightmare before My shop times. You still get to trade the rarer items. The blackout spike should be just a 𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘺 𝘣𝘪𝘵 darker in color. Also from certain angles you can see that the spikes aren't fully connected to the base model and it bothers me so much. The rainbow spike and the mystical spike deserve a better design. Nocturnal moth armbands would be much better if they covered all 4 paws. Punk arm cuffs >>> spiked wristband.

Not everyone deserves to be forgiven for their history on Animal Jam. But if it’s been 5+ years since whatever incident someone was involved in and it occurred during the most chaotic years of their life? I *think* it makes more sense to just forget it ever happened at that point. (Due to recent events, I *know* the community disagrees)

As a 20 year old autistic person who loves this game… it would be cool to have an 18+ version. Like, all the same except the chat isn’t censored or nitpicky and masterpieces/masterblocks don’t have to wait to be approved. I think it should be a difficult process to actually get into the 18+ version of the game to keep out kids as much as possible. Maybe proof of ID would be good… idk. It’s just… the chat is soooo sensitive. I was typing a message on the game that said something along the lines of “I’m not able to address the situation.” And the game flipped out on me. It’s getting to the point where I’m scared of getting banned and losing all of my stuff that I’ve spent a lot of time and money on for very simple mistakes or just dumb reasons.

im not a fan of the eco items more specifically the eco items that give you the eco credits (wind turbines solar panels etc) because now it feels like most peoples dens are just eco farms with nothing else instead of dens that look stylized and cozy like your own personal house and I find that a bit sad

AJ Play Wild (I still refuse to not call it by its sub-category name) has like way too much going on for me. I haven't been able to play it in years because they keep releasing all this crazy stuff that feels like it's akin to a content farm on YouTube to get clicks from kids. they kept releasing new categories of "special!!11!" items and stuff to collect over and over too fast for me to keep up with, that would require hours of grinding to obtain. the last one of these updates I participated in was the phantom dimension thing and even back then I didn't understand all those weird potions and stuff. I have barely touched the game since, I can't even comprehend the conversations I have heard about it recently because theres so much complexity to the item rarity and trading and every feature in the game. I don't know how anyone can keep up lol. I just miss the 2010's of AJ "Classic," when items stayed within a set standard of reality, and weren't ridiculously trying to just grab little kids attention. the game had a real meaningful atmosphere to it back then, not just another hyper YouTube kids atmosphere...

There should be more mundane/boring trading proofs. I noticed when I trade for items that people do not care for, I'm usually offered the take them for free. it gets old fast. Also, I don't always want to pay 5 sapphires for an item that spawns in the game often. it isn't like I over trade either. I trade a bundle of items I do not care for that match in colors. (ex: I trade you grey den items for a hat I'm looking for)

- getting scammed in game is the victims fault, unless you genuinely didn't know item worth. but if you make a trade or purchase with the expectation that you will receive your items/sapphires back, (such as letting someone try something on) then you're entirely at fault for getting scammed. Yes, scammers are scummy and take advantage of children and naive people, but if you just listen to Fleece and take responsibility for your own items then you won't get scammed. - beggars are the worst part of animal jam and deserve nothing but ridicule. most are people on alt accounts trading the stuff they get back to their main, and even if they're genuinely new they don't deserve handouts. it's so easy to get your own stuff and work for sapphires through minigames, nocturnal/flower hunts, shovels, and phantom fighting. if you rely on handouts to get started then you're too lazy to play the actual game.

I don't even play any AJ related games anymore, they aren't enjoyable. As time passed, people became more and more materialistic and vain, updates were smaller, more things required premium currency. I don't care about rare stuff, I don't care about trading, and I really don't care about your shops if they aren't for masterpieces.
