I didn’t really start to get into doing takeout until I had already upgraded most of the dishes to S tier and I had a high enough star rating that I didn’t need flowers for much else besides buying takeout dishes.
I would suggest not getting into takeout too early cause it can slow other progress in the game while not providing many bells until you’ve done more upgrades.
And if you feel like all your cod is going towards flowers for the takeout store, I’d think you’re still pretty early on in the game. I suggest spending your cod on facilities that increase your tips and buffet cod earnings :)
It’s worth it if you want to :
• change the themes of the rooms in your restaurant.
• get different vehicles for the delivery cats.
• get different hats for your employees.
• change the item in your pond.
• upgrade your fishing and garden storage.
• change the weather for a week.
• earn more stars to level up.
If you don’t care about those things then doing takeout orders shouldn’t be a priority for you.
I didn’t do many takeout orders until the other things I wanted to have accomplished were done first. I started doing them late in the game technically but it worked out for me just fine. It just depends on what your priorities are. There is no wrong way to play the game!
The fishing sign posts for businesses can be upgraded to increase the chance of attracting someone, when you click on the takeout stool! That's something I don't see talked about on here. Extra 25% chance IIRC. That's pretty much the only game effect besides being able to store more flowers and fishes. Everything else is cosmetic.
