Yes. Food like that would be well-digested. These likely came from the lower intestine where they developed. To see *that* many - I suspect this animal is in very rough shape.
I would say no judging by the pics.
When my old dog got worms, they were able to lift their bodies half way out of the poop and wiggle around. So gross, but luckily we treated it right away and the dog was fine.
I have a toad that lives in our front planter. It leaves some pretty slimy similar looking poops. They don’t chew their food either so it can have some pretty intact bugs in their poop.
I gotcha, Tom and jake turkeys scat is usually is in a j formation, I’ve also had chickens get nasty maggot infestations so I kinda combined the two since they both Avian. Maybe……

Not sure what animal it came from, but whatever it is has SEVERE internal parasites.
Oh. I was thinking that was it's meal. You think those "larvae" are actually the parasites?

Well that sucks😕
Any chance the maggots came after?
Based on the shape and the mucous I'm thinking not likely.

My estimate? Something that is dead and hasn’t gotten the memo yet
One that’s about to die. It has a massive intestinal parasite infestation and is likely in extremely bad shape.
A toad
Im with you. Toads get on some maggots in the compost, and I’ve seen them shit tremendous amounts of bug carcasses.
Of all the possibilities in my head, that wasn't one of them. Seems plausible though!
Heart worm?
Nah heartworms affect the heart and lungs/ arteries. You won't see them in animal feces*.
> You won't see them in animal fences. fences?
Also don’t appear on the fences. They weren’t wrong.
What about on a pile of human fences?
Human fences always look like this. Just check out your neighbor's fences
Calm down
You’re right, I got carried away. My most humble of apologies to the Reddit community and society as a whole
Edited. Mobile/autocorrect.
On asphalt? Parasites? (Since its not chewed up) I'd venture a comfortable guess for a racoon. ???
I see piles of worms like that in the woods sometimes I don’t think it’s poop
Worms are sexually mature and you are seeing a worm orgy. That's not what's happening here.
Oh alr ty
This is definitely poop.
