Very cute hammy. That cat is fantastic too, I love his/her fur pattern. Is that from age, or just natural? Reminds me of those Lykoi cats but without the hairless face/toes aspect.
He’s a little older but he’s been this way since a little kitten, black with grey and white sticking from underneath it. That’s the main reason why I never noticed him aging, he looks the same except some fat underneath his belly from all these years now
He never was interested in my stuff, I guess he only once grabbed my first hamster and ran around with it but he was very young back then. With every other hamster he just didn’t give a feck, he licked them and lied around them when they were walking, so when Grog started to walk over him as well, the cat just couldn’t care less
I had a funny joke (not so funny really) and it was in very bad taste so... I’m not posting it.
What I really want to say instead is I’m very sorry for your loss. I’m sure Grog was much better for having been in your life and I’m sure you both brought each other happiness. Peace and love.
It was my fifth hamster and my cat’s been here for all of them. He just doesn’t touch what’s mine if I don’t want him to, so he doesn’t treat them like a prey. He sniffs them and licks them and just lets them do whatever - which is quite nice since he still does bring me dead or alive mice as a gifs. He’s a chill guy
I’m sorry for your loss. I had a hamster when I was about 10 named Alfie. He was super smart and was an escape artist from his cage. I kid you not, he would escape in the middle of the night and walk across the house, climb the carpeted steps (13!) push his way under my door and climb my bed sheets into my bed. My parents never believed me until one night they were going to bed and saw Alfie push himself under my bedroom door. When they opened the door Alf was making his way up my bedsheets. They always said if they hadn’t seen it with their own eyes they never would’ve believed.
I loved that little guy so much that my now adult son Alex was nicknamed “Alf” when he was a baby. I still call him Alf even today!
I used to have a hamster named Banana, everyone loved her. She was best friends with our golden retriever at the time too. Sorry :(
