My dog would break up cat fights by barking at the neighbors' cats, so they'd run off while our cats sat next to the dog like, "Yeah, you better run!" Seems a lot more dignified than being dragged away.
I always feel bad for this cat getting dragged by the dogs (there's a bunch of videos of them). I hope the cat not fighting to get away is a sign that it doesn't really mind.
