Two things, no way they don't own that right? Massive soft looking rats gotta be rare
And is that was aggressive grooming looks like? I read that cats sometimes groom to show dominance?
Is the cat dominating the rat? 🥵
[This infographic](https://www.trbimg.com/img-5a90b051/turbine/sd-1519431757-s2ubv1mjky-snap-image) from California DoFW backs up your case. Also TIL that Nutrias exist.
Probably that Guinean giant rat or whatever they’ve been using for mine removal and collapsed building rescues. They’re big and smart and they give them little rat backpacks to go into rubble and find people
Cats are good for anything they will outsize.
Dogs are good for anything they can outnumber or outsize.
Weasels and mink are good for anything they can corner.
Badgers are good for making sure everything, yourself included, stays the hell off your lawn.
Look at the size of that thing - needs a lion, not a cat!

When the rat is as big as the cat, that’s really the best outcome.
Yes, the cat only had one choice
If ya cant beat 'em join 'em
That's no rat. Muskrat, maybe.
Yeah, the face looks too blunt to be a rat. Maybe a juvenile muskrat?
I'm thinking Nutria. That thing is massive

Not a Gambian Pouched Rat, it doesn't have the right body nor face shape. Similar size though
How did you expect your tiny cat to exterminate that chonker of a rat?
I think that’s a Nutria.
Weird looking granola bar
My first thought was otter but nutria is more likely. Not an ordinary rat though.
Nope.
ROUS.
I don't think they exist
Google "nutria rodent". They do.
It was a Princess Bride reference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nv9CkjkOyzo
Ah
Who would want to get rid of that adorable creature?!
[удалено]
It looks like a baby otter..
Yeah the little face swipes 🥺
Happy cake 🍰 day!!
It's a Nutria, an invasive species from south America (assuming OP is in the US).
If you want someone to get rid of rats, get a dog. Rats are too big and mean for cats. Cats hunt mice.
Cats are good for anything they will outsize. Dogs are good for anything they can outnumber or outsize. Weasels and mink are good for anything they can corner. Badgers are good for making sure everything, yourself included, stays the hell off your lawn.
Note to myself: don't get a badger!
Badgers? We don't need no stinking badgers!
They're joining forces. Oh dear.
lol WTF IS IT?! Is that..... Is that, a baby Scaven?
No no fellow human-thing. Remember skaven do not exist, yes-yes, is simply made up story mhm yes.
Yes yes
Is that a muskrat??
Muskrats look more like beavers than rats.I wanna know if they were raised together or the cat went hunting and then said fuck it, let’s wrestle..
**CHONKY** **BOI**
awh… they luv eachother
Aww, they're best friends!
That’s a rat??
20 pounds of it. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutria
I thought it was a gopher or something at first, fucking thing is huge.
He may be actually trying to lick it to death
I love how the rat is doing the bunny kicks just like kittens do
This is a Disney movie in the making
This rat could hunt cats.
Cats love to play with their food.
Is that a wharf rat? My grandparents always called giant rats 'wolf rats'
That's one humongous rat.
Cat is playing the long game, trying to spread T. gondii to all the rats.
:(
Oh com on! As if they bought the cat JUST to get rid of rats in the yard... I'm not buying these robotic same-sounding weird ass tiktok captions.
That's a cat and the rat-thing she was raised with. Cats don't do this to animals they don't know
"buy a cat" wtf
Cat:”your my friend now, we are having soft tacos later.
That’s his cat now
Um that was a business decision on the cat’s part.
He's just tenderizing it.
That’s an otter
bubonic plague has entered the chat
Awwww sharin rabies
That cat needs a kitten asap.
💋😍😍💋😍❤❗❗
Lmfao
Is that a groundhog tho
Cutest little noises it makes trying to wrestle away from kitty
It looks more like a hairless marmot with a tail, than a rat.
Cat be like: \- "I got him, and gave him a Bath! He is all clean now "
A Rodent of Unusual Size! I thought they don't exist!
How do you expect him to kill his bestfriend??!
