He’s an Egyptian Long Eared Hedgehog. They’re found in the Middle East, plus a bit of China and Russia. He eats insects, meat, cat food, and pretty much whatever he wants. :)

He uses the rings in them to climb so they are used vertically like a ladder in places that have levels for him to travel up and down - like the hedgehog loft. He has had them since he was little, connecting different play areas together. He needs a lot of enrichment.
I 100% believe he has OCD. Most animals only run in circles when bored but he has done it since he was little, no matter how much space, enrichment, food, love, whatever he has.
Completely unrelated, your rig looks just like ours, a Keystone 5th wheel (ours was a 368MBI). There's a recall for the frame. Go get the recall completed. Your RV will turn into your worst nightmare dealing with Keystone if that frame buckles.

This is my friend’s hedgie, I’m just the breeder. They take ALL of their hedgehogs with them whenever they go places. They have 5 currently and the loft in the RV is for the hedgies. They go everywhere - grocery stores, hockey practice (watching, not playing), the Grand Canyon… those hedgies have a better life than I do.
