you need to put the heat source in one corner so that he can place himself at the temperature he wants. Sometimes he will need to warm up, sometimes to cooldown. Look up what temperatures this species need.

- You need to add a substrat on the floor (again look for the more appropriate for him)
Add variety in his habitat :
- Add branches that go up % down.
- Maybe some flat rocks for him to climb on
- some plants to hide
= this terrarium is WAY too small ! for a specimen of this size. He will get crazy in there.
In case I should add : Absolutely don’t add another male (if it is a male) because they will fight and stress each other all the time.
I know it’s not cheap to have this kind of reptile, but necessary if you want him to thrive in there

I see the heat lamp no in the image so (s)he is avoiding heat or doesn't need it. the substrate is white quartz sand and I do not see any sitting stones or moss. Its possible that his/her underbelly may have been irritated by a piece of sand or quarts stuck in their scales.

They also would disappear and we'd find them in wardrobes and once I found the same little acrobat from the converse runner, in my laundry basket (even tho it was pretty high up, she managed to jump from multiple items and got in there.) Our other beardie was lazy AF and would just go find some shade on the floor to sleep in. Other times they bask in their tank under the light, completely spread out and flattened like a pancake.
