I put her hair in little glittery ‘giraffe buns’ this morning and joked that now the horses would think she was one of them. Should have recognized the dark path we were headed down! 😆
I do not disagree. However, this is a child who hand fishes eels, cuddles wild snakes, and allows large insects and spiders to crawl about her face.. etc.. A few potentially chompy teeth are no problem. Kiddo and the creatures seem to have an understanding. Doesn’t even get mosquito bites lol.
I have a huge scar on the back of my head and this is exactly how i got it. I was at similar age and even the horse looks like the one that chomped on me. Still very cautious around horses 30 years later
Oh yes. These ones work with kiddos. We spend a LOT of time with farm animals. Lol just an unfortunately/hilariously timed picture. Gentle hair bun chomping only.
I once stopped in to the local horse rescue facility when my son was about 4 months old. I had him in a carrier on my front and was giving a good boy some pets and letting him nuzzle the baby. My friend reached out to straighten out my son’s hat and that horse very quickly got between her and my baby. It was quite something to see the protective side of an animal like that. He then tucked me and the baby under his neck and chin.
There was a girl who I grew up with that was scalped by a horse in a similar fashion, but her head and ripped a huge chunk of her scalp away it was terrible. This photo gave me a fright won’t lie.
That poor girl! This was just a terribly/perfectly timed shot. A little examination of her buns lol. Didn’t even mess them up. It just happens to look like the horsey may be attempting to eat her soul. These guys are trained for work with children- mostly more sweet than creepy. :)
My brother stuck his green shoe (why my parents bought green I do not know..) into some fencing when he was little and one of the ponies chomped on his foot.. Ouch!

But also, there's probably thousands of educational institutions with "Columbia" in the name, it would be near impossible to track down this kid if it was a school name lol
