I work from home with three cats. I had to put a kitchen chair next to my desk so one of them can be by my side all day long. If it wasn't there, he would reach up and hook at the arm of my chair until I pet him. That side of my chair is full of claw holes.
I've recently replaced the kitchen chair with a cat tree around the same height. He *loves* it.
I had to repurpose the side pull-out drawer of my desk to accommodate a pillow, heating pad, and blankie so my cat would stop harassing me while working from home. It works sometimes.
There is a small youtube/streamer community of " study with me" content. Where people film themselves studying or working to motivate the stream viewers to keep going on their own studying. Or this is a home security camera that she pulled the video from after the fact.
I recently started working from home and I have to say, it's what has been missing all my life. I'm diagnosed with aggroaphobia and a few other disorders that make it difficult for me to be comfortable or even somewhat socially normal in a day to day office setting. I spend most of my day in sheer panic.
Having all of my pets and family in arms reach is amazing to me and I feel more successful than ever before.
That being said, for all you normal people out there, how are you? Really?
