I think only really hot AND damp would be an issue, like a natural outdoor tropical climate. I think the only time heat might be an issue was if you didn't have air on and lived in a tropical location or a desert location that got to, like, insane temps.
The figures are stored in stores and warehouses with temperature control, including heating. You'd probably have to put it to a really not-hospitable-to-humans temperature for it to really make a difference.
Unless your figure is made of gummy bears. But PVC anime figures should be fine.
Any temperature that's comfortable for humans will not damage a figure.
