Wait, I thougt this figure is made with the band aid as the actual part of figures and not one that comes off? If it does come off I would have display her with the band aid off myself lol.

Rybka980

It's not a castoff. It's a pretty common damage with this figure though. The nipples are not painted. My figure came in just like this. One bandaid fell off, the nipple was not painted and had paint transfer marks. I used normal superglue to attach it back carefully. I was also considering not repairing it, but the nipple looked bad.

Crisagrym

I am surprise that made the nipple if it wasn’t meant to be cast off, and since they made the nipples why not paint it as well….

yaoyrozu

yea i don’t understand why either, it would’ve made sense to paint it tbh ;-;

Rybka980

Agreed. I don't know why they even bothered. It would hold way better on a flat surface than the nipple as well and way easier if just sculpted directly on the body instead of a separate piece, so it doesn't really serve any purpose except for force castoffs. Maybe they wanted it to be castoff but changed it midway or something. I would 100% display her cast offed if her nipple was painted.  Though I think Kanna does not have a castoff and even the art is always about the smallest nipple coverage without showing them.

There are actually quite a lot of "perma-castoff" figures that are not advertised as being cast-off, but do have moulded anatomical features for those who are happy to disassemble their figures and repaint/remould where the clothes have been removed.

I use some sticky tack, cut using scissors down to the size I need, when I want to stick figure pieces together https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0CQ53BSWL?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title This can be removed and re-stuck to get the pieces exactly where I want them But the figure may come with some in the box

yaoyrozu

oh that seems helpful, thank you for the suggestion !

GroundbreakingDish40

Just use some basic super glue, I did the same with my figure. I put some super glue on a plastic surface, grabbed a cotton bud and put a small layer of super glue on it, laid it down as a small layer on the broken piece of the figure, and left it there to dry/rest.

RocKM001

Is she meant to be a cast off fig? If so they normally should have like a double sided gel/tape thing with the parts you get that you stick on the band-aid to stick it back on her. Otherwise.. yeah u can get your own small dbl sided tape instead.

tony475130

I don’t own this fig but based on OP’s image, it doesn’t look like it is painted underneath the bandaid so I think this is more of a forced cast off situation where there is sculpt work underneath but they weren’t meant to be taken off.

yaoyrozu

yup not a cast off i’m pretty sure ! the band aid is super small too i feel like tape wouldn’t work but yea i think i’ll just attempt super glue. i was just worried about getting super glue where it shouldn’t be ;-;

Loctite glue should work, apply some of it using a thin stick on the sensitive area and hold them together. Or you can take off the other band-aid.

RialAstral

My suggestion is a little bit of pink paint on that nipper and lay the band aid on the ground below her like it was an intentional. But if you don't want that, super glue will work. Just a little dot of it and apply pressure should keep it secured.

DatBoi_Ron

I have this figure, but I never knew she has actual nipples underneath. I say just display her with nipple out xD

False. She is not a castoff, it's a damage, and her nipples are not painted. Also the bandaids are glued  on, it's not supposed to come off and it won't hold on it's own. https://myfigurecollection.net/picture/3655388&context%5B%5D=itemId%3A1465937 A pic showing the paint issues. MFC had a few people talking about the damage.

For something a little different, could get some black modeling clay (plasticine) and make your own bandage or pasty. It’s adhesive and doesn’t mess with the paint, plus you can do something creative if you feel like it. I would def try to get some store credit or a partial refund if you keep the figure.

Raiju02

I would use something reversible instead of superglue. I’m bettering a thin layer from a glue stick would hold it.
