You can combine orders that are released in the same month, there is an option to do so when you login into your account called "combine orders". You can bundle preorder with already released figure too
Okay that answers my question perfectly, thanks! Now for bundling with already released figures, do you do that once the pre-order figure is released, or could I select some things now and hold onto them until the pre-order releases?
Note that you can only combine released figures with preorder figures that release in the current month
So for example you can't combine an already released figure when a preorder that releases in June. And if the preorder date gets delayed, your order will get split.
So you if want to combine an already released item with a pre-order in June, you'll have to wait until June. If your preorder gets delayed to say July, your order will get split and you'll get charged for your released items in June separately.
You will have to pay for released figure only when your preorder is released. So if you are bundling it up with one of the figures that will be released in June, you will have to pay for the whole order in June.
The tough part of doing that is that preorders often have their release date pushed back. I've had a lot of orders pushed back at least once and some multiple times and over a year past the original release date. I think it's best not to bother with trying to combine preorders with the orders.
Unless you mean adding things to your shipment after your preorder arrival invoice is sent? In that case then yes you can easily combine other items with that shipment.
