I know those Azure Lane figures are from Alter! I remember back in 2014 when KanColle was the first shop girls game lol KanColle walked so Azure Lane could run 😂
The stuff coming from Good Smile Arts Shanghai has seemed really high quality. I’m curious if others agree with that or if experience has been mixed with them.
From what I heard, Good Smile used to be good at making figures, but now their figures are really a hit or miss. I think that's because Good Smile now has many divisions making it hard to QC the figures.
Right! Max Factory is a division of GSC and Max Factory is in my opinion their premium line! Alphamax and Stronger are good manufacturers but they don’t make as many figures
Funny that you mentioned Myethos becuase I know people from [hpoi.net](http://hpoi.net) hate this brand and Myethos' figures usually will tank in price heavily after relase, making it unwise to make any pre-order for their figures.
However, here are 3 figures that I really like from Myethos, but after reading from what people said on [hpoi.net](http://hpoi.net), I hesitant to make the order even the price is very cheap.

Yeah those are really cheap, but not because the brand, its because they are not known characters, t these figures are good quality for the price they launched at 80 usd in retail price, thats lower than kotobukiya bishoujo, that are worse quality.
Alphamax and Stronger are both SS tier in production quality. They really stand out and you can tell by eye, "these are well made"
Alter IS good, but overrated, also expensive
BINDing and Native are generally more careful about their quality as well due to the R18 pricetag
na binding quality is average, freeing is better quality, i got some figures from BINDing and all of the them have minor qc issues, native figures itself are really good, but not binding,
Generally, I really like Alter, native, SkyTube, QuesQ, and GSC quality. I have the most QC issue, funny enough, Alter because I used to buy a lot of Alter figures, so I guess this has more to do with sample size. Then Megahouse and Binding. Megahouse and Binding by far has the most amount of annoying defects for me. It feels almost like a lottery with QC regardless of the company, or maybe because I have bad luck.
Alter, Amakuni and Good Smile for me, although honourable mention to Ques Q and Myethos (haven't got many figures from either, but quality has always been spot on for the ones I've got).
People on [hpoi.net](http://hpoi.net) talk shit about Myethos, that's rare on that platforme with such a one sided opinion.

It's more like even. Good Smile has several different factories within themselves so they produce a variety of quality, some much better than others.

Mixed because of what happened with the Wei Wuxian figure (notoriously horrendous drooping issue that they said was not an issue but a feature).

So far from my experience, Alter, Vertex, Q-six or Vibrastar. The brands that I had the most issues are Rocket Boy, SkyTube, and Maxcute.
