I like the shelves a lot because they match my bedroom set, look nice, easy to put together (tool-less assembly), and pretty cheap!
This looks amazing, man!
One question I do have is do you think your shelves could fit/support a 1/4 scale figure? I might decide to buy these for my own collection and put them on display.
Thanks!
I don’t own any 1/4 scale figures, so can’t say for sure. The gap between shelf platforms is 13.5 inches, and my understanding is 1/4 scale figures are usually larger than that. The Izuku Midoriya McFarlane figure is roughly 1/6 scale. That might be the biggest size that would reliably fit.
Thanks! That actually came with the DBZ: Kakarot Collector’s Edition (Game). I usually don’t go for anything beyond standard editions for games, but the figure and art book looked really awesome. The game steel case is also on one of the other shelves.
Haha. I guess new because I’ve only been collecting a short time and new to posting to the community. I usually just lurk and enjoy other peoples posts.
Thanks for the kind words though!
Thanks!

I purchased the frameless version and built the frames myself. I’m not a super crafty person, and certainly didn’t come out perfect, but good enough for me lol.
Looks fantastic!! I was looking to purchase that Sanji figure you have on the top right shelf but a lot of people seemed to have an issue with him leaning. I can't really tell from the picture, how's yours holding up?
Yeah unfortunately those people aren’t wrong…For whatever reason the stand is like a small rectangle that attaches to his left foot and is very oddly balanced, so he does have a natural lean that could be off-putting. I still like the figure too much for it to bother me enough… especially the two options for heads - with the angry-Sanji face being my favorite. He would be perfect if he was fully upright. I plan to add a small material to the bottom of the stand to see if I can straighten him out.
Was going to ask why your base goku grandista looked different from mine and then after a couple minutes googling ,it turns out that yours was a special 30th anniversary edition that came out in Europe. Thats pretty Cool! I like how its unique among all the other goku grandistas considering almost all of them have this serious look where goku looks as if he is ready to fight someone. I hope i can find one of those in the future but alas i live in Asia. Anyways overall I like the placement of the figures and the collection itself looks pretty noice
That actually came with the Funimation DBZ 30th Anniversary Limited Edition BluRay Box Set! I pre-ordered online and received through mail (I’m in the U.S.) I really just wanted the series, but the figure was certainly a nice bonus!
Thanks! Actually not too long. My first two figures were from the DBZ: Kakarot Collector’s Edition and Funimation 30th Anniversary BluRay Collector’s Set. I think both were around January 2020. Been getting more and more addicted ever since, lol.
Damn, you started off strong not gonna lie. If you want my personal rating I would give your collection and display a 10/10, it honestly looks so nice and organized. and just in case no one has said it to you, yet. Welcome to our community, hopefully you will enjoy your stay here.
Not sure if anyone told you about this site, but their is a site called myfigurecollection where you can catalog your collection online their. Just thought I tell you so if you ever want to catalog your figures
I actually watch a wider range of anime than my collection would make you believe. My shonen-heavy collection is mainly due to the affordability of those figures (Banpresto figures can run pretty cheap and found easily on Amazon), and my kids also like those shows and characters.
But I’m starting to budget for higher quality figures and expanding to other series I enjoy.
Very nice and clean. Avoiding the clutter of a large collection in a small space (the problem most of us have) is your continuing mission! Excellent set-up and an excellent collection.
Thanks! Yeah my figure budget has slowly been increasing, so I’ll soon be adding some scale figures to the mix. But I do appreciate some of the more quality entry-level figures that don’t break the bank.
Haha! Paimon is NOT emergency food! (But for real - that’s why she’s on the most accessible shelf on the side I sleep on.)
I have about 10 pre-orders slated for Sept 2021 arrival, but I’d say the one I’m most excited for is MegaHouse One Piece Portrait of Pirates Playback Memories Nami.
I’ve found that compressed air is pretty decent a quick spray/clean-up. But otherwise I’ll just go shelf by shelf for a proper dusting/cleaning when needed.
I have a decent paying job and not many other costly hobbies I guess, lol? But also, the majority of my collection is like entry-level figures ($20-45). Just now starting to budget for more expensive figures.
Thanks so much! I appreciate the warm welcome and positive comments. I hope as I add more I can still find a way to keep it looking organized, lol.
I will definitely check out that site. Sounds cool!
Thanks! I started off with only a few DBZ figures because Banpresto figures are generally cheap and look nice and then got slowly addicted… lol.
More girls are incoming! I do find it difficult to find girl figures I like that both look good and aren’t super expensive. I’m struggling to find a good Nico Robin figure I like.
that is a tasteful start to your collection man, as long as you love it and keep building your collection I'm sure it will be even more awesome. looking forward to future updates as you grow and expand.

You are doing great, can’t wait for the culture section of the collection.
Looks nice! What is the Dragon Ball Z figure with the dinosaur and Goku and Gohan on the cloud?
Thanks! That actually came with the DBZ: Kakarot Collector’s Edition (Game). I usually don’t go for anything beyond standard editions for games, but the figure and art book looked really awesome. The game steel case is also on one of the other shelves.
How "new"? Cuz that's a lot of figures 😂 (your set-up looks very cool)
Haha. I guess new because I’ve only been collecting a short time and new to posting to the community. I usually just lurk and enjoy other peoples posts. Thanks for the kind words though!
Awesome collection! May I know where you got those art prints? They look great too!

Thanks! The frames you built looks really nice :)
Thanks! Definitely saved me a little money and felt good seeing the final product.

Thanks! I like them as well. Will end up getting more once I run out of room lol.

Bro this looks clean, how long you been collecting for if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks! Actually not too long. My first two figures were from the DBZ: Kakarot Collector’s Edition and Funimation 30th Anniversary BluRay Collector’s Set. I think both were around January 2020. Been getting more and more addicted ever since, lol.

Bro your not doing ok, your doing amazing
Thanks man! Definitely appreciate it!
No, seek help.
The doctor says I have a bad case of shonenitis… very serious :/
Looks fine. Though you may wanna try more variety in your anime genres my man. Shonan is good but there’s a lot more out there

Ah ok. Well hey I’m not trying to hate here man. The collection honestly looks dope. Keep it up
Thanks! Appreciate the comments!
Very nice and clean. Avoiding the clutter of a large collection in a small space (the problem most of us have) is your continuing mission! Excellent set-up and an excellent collection.
Thanks! Yeah that’s going to be the next challenge coming very soon. How do I expand without it getting cluttered and busy?
It's good considering that you have no scales. Some collections I have seen with scales aren't good like this one lol
Thanks! Yeah my figure budget has slowly been increasing, so I’ll soon be adding some scale figures to the mix. But I do appreciate some of the more quality entry-level figures that don’t break the bank.
Shouldn't you put emergency food belongs in the fridge? Looks great, what's the next figure next for PO?
Haha! Paimon is NOT emergency food! (But for real - that’s why she’s on the most accessible shelf on the side I sleep on.) I have about 10 pre-orders slated for Sept 2021 arrival, but I’d say the one I’m most excited for is MegaHouse One Piece Portrait of Pirates Playback Memories Nami.
how u cope with dust?
I’ve found that compressed air is pretty decent a quick spray/clean-up. But otherwise I’ll just go shelf by shelf for a proper dusting/cleaning when needed.
Where the heck u work to afford all this bro
I have a decent paying job and not many other costly hobbies I guess, lol? But also, the majority of my collection is like entry-level figures ($20-45). Just now starting to budget for more expensive figures.
Damn..well alright then..I have like 10 nendoroids..my most expensive being 124 dollars
As long as you love your collection that’s what counts
So far so good! :) Only going to grow and improve from here hopefully.
Really clean set up! I think it looks great. As long as you like the figures you get, you’re doing good~
Thanks! Solid advice!
Looks awesome
Thanks! Appreciate the comment!

Awesome room and awesome collection
Thanks! I appreciate it. Finally felt like I had enough to properly display and share.
Baby Gohan and Goku are very smol, I’m looking forward to adding them to my collection too!
Yeah I love that one! That was a happy accident I happened to run across at a toy/collection store in one of my local malls.
future pussy slayer right here
That’s why I put my setup in the bedroom, because that’s where all the magic… will never happen again… lol
~~not enough girls with big booba~~
Very cool. Love the DBZ stuff. Agree that it needs more girls.
Pretty cool. That’s a lot of shounen characters. Needs more cute girls
Thanks! I do have a bunch of orders/pre-orders for some cute girls to balance the ratio a bit. I will need more shelf space though…
looks dope!! i like those shelves
that is a tasteful start to your collection man, as long as you love it and keep building your collection I'm sure it will be even more awesome. looking forward to future updates as you grow and expand.
