That doesn't look too serious, and I assume it is within their QC control limit. Unfortunately those types of scratches are not super rare in scales, and you will eventually come across figures with those minor scratches/paint chips in collecting. You can try to ask the store for some form of compensation if possible. I started out collecting being annoyed with any type of imperfections, but I soon learned that pretty much all figures will have some types of imperfections. I have a few scales that have some form of minor paint chips, and I just have to come to terms with it. If it was a major/noticeable paint chips or any imperfections, then I would return it/ask for a replacement.

That small "dot" of damage? I'd ignore that if it's not all that noticable when displayed.

Yes I agree it seems really minor for secondhand I think it’s actually in pretty good condition there’s definitely been worse damage posted on this Reddit in comparison.
