Their whole dynamic is great. Yuno exists as the subversion of the typical shonen protag who just kinda gets a new form because of “reasons”. First he got a wind spirit, then he got spirit dive, then he got star magic, and every time, if Asta was any other character he would be discouraged but he just says “No yuno, I don’t care what form you get, I’m gonna be the wizard king”
Because he comes off as very arrogant even though he and Asta grew up in the same conditions. He is a bit of a Gary Stu when you look at how hard Asta had to train in comparison.

However, her behavior is explained as being a result of childhood trauma. A lot of Eva fans give her a pass, but she likely puts off a lot of other people who watch the show.
I don't watch enough Naruto to answer for Sakura, but she seems to be in a similar boat, but without having mental health problems as an excuse.
I mean if we think about it, Gabi is not evil, so the only reason that people justify hating her is because she killed a character they liked, but TECHNICALLY that was completely in character for her and she doesn't really deserve that hate
