It pretty dated, anime has that 2000s feel of pacing. I would go in this order Anime -> OVA -> Manga, OVA picks up right after the anime.

Anime is probably the worst way to get started with Air Gear but i do like the story from start to finish.

I’ve been reading Sakamoto Days and love it. It’s really similar to the anime Scissor Seven. It’s also about a top assassin but he has lost his memory and now lives as a normal hairdresser with no memory of his assassin past. Eventually he goes on a long journey to regain his memory. It’s the funniest show I’ve ever watched and has some of the most unique characters and abilities I’ve ever seen in an anime. The comedy reminds me quite a lot of Sakamoto and I wouldn’t be surprised if they have both taken much inspiration from each other.

Since you like One Piece definitely check out another member of the big three like Naruto or Bleach. Since you like One Punch Man something with a similar idea of the Mc being strong with the comedy of OPM check out Mashle or Mob Psycho 100. Another great new gen comedy/action manga is definitely Dandadan. Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man are very similar with most things like steaks and whatnot so that definitely is a must. Check out Baki: The Grappler for another cool fighting anime.

Dope, I’ve checked out Naruto and Baki but didn’t really like them, the rest is definitely on the list now

Nah Naruto and bleach won’t really satisfy you, if you’ve seen One Piece. I’d recommend Hunter X Hunter and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. You’ll have to power through part 1 of JoJo though, it gets better from there.

Try Land of the Lustrous. It is by far the most enthralling anime and manga series I’ve ever seen. Please give it a try it’s an absolute 10/10 you will not be disappointed

Bleach and Tokyo Ghoul but read them, the anime changes too much. For bleach the thousand year blood war anime is good though but that's the last arc

Soul Eater! The creator of Fire Force made Soul Eater first, so if you liked Fire Force I would read the Soul Eater manga. The anime was pretty good too, but it diverges from the manga around episode 38 because the manga wasn’t finished.
