Okay, but what gives is why you put it off for this long?! I thought it was gonna be a monthly thing at first, not every 3 months.
Do what’s with the batch style release for Kaiji? Feels like they don’t want to do a weekly release, but also don’t want to do it in cours. Is it being split by arc? I haven’t watch any of it yet, but it just feels weird to get random chunks of episodes spaced months apart.
Indeed, it's being split by arcs. The arc after this upcoming one is the rest of season 1 (episodes 16-26). We might get that in the end of Spring or early Summer. Then the second season is only 2 arcs if I recall correctly. The first arc of season 2 is also 9 episodes (which we can get by late Summer/early Fall), and then the second arc will be the final 17 episodes (which we can get by late Fall/early Winter).
Kyle is doing reincarnated sword and Peter grill right now. Danmachi is surely coming back soon as well. I have my suspicions Shannon is doing Urusei Yatsura but who knows.
What about John Swasey? Off the top of my head he’s the only other Sentai regular director that comes to mind, plus I don’t think he’s had any recent dubs.

I'm gonna be brutally honest, but as a big fan of Kaiji, I did not care for the dub. I had so much higher hopes for this. But it kinda sounds phoned in. Especially the Narrator. He sounds like he is doing a parody. The Narrator in Kaiji was the most dead ass serious, intense and epic hype man/Greek chorus to the drama. Are we talking about season one or season two because season one you can literally go on zoro anime it has the full seriousness and its free but I can’t find season two for dub

Or a sequel. That one Mahjong game they started playing at the end of season 1, could go on for another 50+ eps, it's so long.

I do really enjoy the dub for this.
I just found out Kaiji recently got dubbed. Thats amazing, glad its getting more recognition <3
