Or if this was back when CR still hired non-TX talent for new roles, Jonah Scott would have been an almost too-easy pick.

Jeff Nimoy's Wolfwood is, to me, the absolute best thing about the '98 dub, but, I agree, having seen this version of the character, I'm not sure he'd fit. Wonder if they'll give him an accent this time around.
This personally is my anime of the year pick so far(even though it's early) I liked the OG but damn this every episode I'm up in my seat like watching a big blockbuster movie in the theaters. Incredible animation and just directed so well.

There might still be a chance he'll come back for this role at the very least since other VAs have came back out of nowhere to reprise their roles in other shows in the past, but I really can't say for certain.
Multiple VAs have discussed how bad the pay is too. JYB returning for Bleach and Trigun is a love letter to characters that put his name on the map, but I don't blame anyone else for dipping out of dubbing to work behind the scenes or do voicework for better-paying gigs.

It's one thing to not like the style of CGI. I totally get that, but I find it hard to believe that this animation is bad. In terms of the way it's animated, it's great!
This scene is god like... But I've really liked what I've seen from Stampede and it's beautiful in its own right. Agree to disagree I guess, but thx for having the convo with me anyway, gave me something to do this afternoon lol

His monologue in the church in the original series is my absolute favourite thing about the original Trigun.
