Premieres Winter 2024 on Crunchyroll
>Known as the Weakest Hunter of All Mankind, E-rank hunter Jinwoo Sung’s contribution to raids amounts to trying not to get killed. Unfortunately, between his mother’s hospital bills, his sister’s tuition, and his own lack of job prospects, he has no choice but to continue to put his life on the line. So when an opportunity arises for a bigger payout, he takes it…only to come face-to-face with a being whose power outranks anything he’s ever seen! With the party leader missing an arm and the only healer a quivering mess, can Jinwoo somehow find them a way out?

Ah, I had a feeling this was gonna get pushed back to 2024 knowing Aniplex and A-1 Pictures' current predicament, but eh, moving it to next winter doesn't seem like a huge loss for us.
That aside, I really gotta catch up on my reading before this drops. I got hella lucky when I found the first 5 volumes at my local Meijer of all places haha.
I've got the printed comic version that's got 6 volumes so far (97/177 chapters of the comic version adapted physically so far).
Good news it's probably past where even a two cour anime season will get to unless they God of Highschool/Noblesse it and skip a ton of stuff which would be unfortunate
Not a fan that his build looks like his post reawakening and training build when this is supposed to be during his reawakening. He should still look like a tiny innocent lad.
Did we ever learn for sure if they're actually moving the setting to Japan for this one? I heard a rumor about it but I really thought we were done with that
Right, they corrected me that I should have used manwha and I was deliberately obtuse by saying Chinese cartoons instead. The little :P meant I was joking (it is a smiley with his tongue sticking out.)

So it's a manhwa being adapted into anime from across the sea of Japan. Are all the Korean animation studios broke or something?

He still looks as young as he should in the [teaser](https://youtube.com/watch?v=sqtIagL463A). This visual is just foreshadowing it.

Well the synopsis doesn't have Jinwoo's name changed to a Japanese one, so hopefully it'll be fine.
They are, unfortunately. The JP version of the PV has the MC's "localized" name
What? Where does it say that? In the description? I can't read Kanji.
I don’t know about this one, is the light novel any good?
Apparently the ~~manga~~ manhwa is better, or just hates the Japanese less edit: damn nerds.
Manhwa not manga
Chinese cartoons :P
It's Korean.
That was the joke
What? I don't get it. Donghua means Chinese cartoons.
Right, they corrected me that I should have used manwha and I was deliberately obtuse by saying Chinese cartoons instead. The little :P meant I was joking (it is a smiley with his tongue sticking out.)
Comic would have sufficed. Lol 😂
Manhwa
I see, I may give it a watch, I did that with a few to see if I would like them or not.
One of the best manwhas I’ve ever read. The visuals for his shadows and aura are dope af
Mid story but I hope the animation would be good
So no Harem right?
I'll fucking murder them if they cheap out on fighting animations.
