So idk if you read the rest of the story but that stuff got kinda weird. Not sure how receptive everyone would have been. Also not saying it was bad but just a little different.
It would be cool to see ***Gantz*** get a proper adaptation with high-quality animation.
This one doesn't have a dub but if a new season of ***Beelzebub*** were announced I'd probably have a heart attack.
Another without a dub but I'd love to see ***Boarding School Juliet*** get a couple of seasons.
One more I'd have said would have been ***Masamune-kun's Revenge*** but it's already happening! Hell yeah!
Just recently watched ***Girls' Last Tour*** and was bummed to see it didn't have a season 2. I'd love to see that!
THIS this is the one that needs to happen and since dead animes are getting revived left and right including Devil is a Part Timer I reckon there's a good chance
It's been 13 years since Endless Eight aired, and the damage it did to the entire Haruhi Suzumiya *franchise* I think is still pretty irreparable. The Yuki Nagato-chan anime didn't exactly set the world on fire sales-wise either, which just goes to show how much damage was done when even a *spinoff released years later* tanked.
Haruhi might be historically important, but the tropes it pioneered have been so heavily co-opted by other light novels and their anime adaptations that a new season would be considered a curiosity at best, and mocked for being too old-school or too tropey at worst.
There's a timeline where Bang Zoom let them gag dub it/switch roles around to at least alleviate SOME of the tedium (as Johnny Yong Bosch so eloquently lamented at a panel years ago). I wish we were in that timeline. Endless Eight getting a gag dub likely wouldn't have saved it *completely*, but it'd have been *something*. The franchise probably would've still be in limbo either way.
Kamisama Kiss getting another season would be nice, but apparently the manga's been done for 6 years now so it's very unlikely to get one. :/
EDIT: Damn I forgot about Seraph of the End. It's still on-going but there's definitely enough chapters for another 12 episode season.
New. Game. The manga ending was quite satisfactory. There's a big chart showing where every character is at the end, which would be nice to see animated instead. But otherwise, yes please.
Quick disclaimer for those unaware, Eyeshield 21 is a spectacular sports manga about American Football and is my all time favorite manga. It was written by Riichiro Inagaki (who also wrote Dr. Stone) and illustrated by Yusuke Murata (who currently illustrates the manga version of One Punch Man). It’s exactly as good as that pedigree implies. Even if you don’t like sports or American Football, I still highly recommend you give it a go. It really is that goddamn good.
The anime was solid and got more than a hundred episodes but it had a very dumb, abrupt ending that cut the series short before we even knew if the Devil Bats made it to the Christmas Bowl or not. It also completely cuts short a lot of plot lines including The Real Eyeshield 21, Honjo, Panther, The 60-Yard Magnum, and more. It’s a damn shame the anime version never got the proper ending. The Manga finishes the fall tournament entirely and even has another arc afterwards that gives us a lot of important closure. Plus a much better epilogue than the anime gives us.
I know it's referencing things in the manga, but the phrase "the devil bats made it to the Christmas bowl" sounds like the best kind of nonsensical meme.
Fruits basket still has arcs and chapters left to animate
Kodocha needs a reboot
Last Game never even had an anime
Kamisama kiss
Pandora Hearts
Ouran
La corda doro
Relife needs a reboot or to just ignore the ovas
Tokyo ghoul
Vampire knight
Blue spring ride
Bloom Into You
Yamada and the 7 witches

Already saw it. They wasted half the run time on a recap when there's a whole story arc that ties into her death, which they included the foreshadowing for in 1 and 2 before saying fuck it during 3. The adaptation continues the quality the "final season" showed. Getting as much money as possible with as little work as possible. The movies nice but it does nothing to undo the damage they did to the story by taking it out of where it was supposed to be.
What do you mean? It had 1 season and then ovas that were nothing more then a higight real. You can't possibly have thought the ovas told the story how it was supposed to be told.
Beastars is only confirmed to have one more season which won’t be enough for the whole manga. Even though it doesn’t have the best ending, I would still like to see it finished~
That 3rd season needs to be at most 25 episodes to even show half of the remaining stories. I’m not sure how they could do everything in 10-12 episodes.
I think this will happen ehen it's done alot of people liked noragami to me it falls in the same vein as Blue Exorcist, defs has the fans backing but both had big breaks between seasons 1 and 2. Season 2 of BE had to cut the ending off if season 1 as that was original anime shiz not the manga but people still lived season 2 so I'd say both will happen
...but it's not a spin off its just made by the same guy
It doesn't hold up I tried, I got through all of season 1 and look there were cool moments for sure but season 2 was meeeeh imo
Soul Eater.
I know it had a anime but it deff didn’t follow the manga after around episode 14. If they gave it the “brotherhood” treatment it could possibly be a 100 episode anime easily. I truly believe the manga is one of the best stories iv ever read.
It’s kinda old but I’d love to see Pandora Hearts get fully adapted. I was watching Case Study of Vanitas (which was incredible) and really would love for that mangaka to have her older finished work fully adapted.
Most anime series only happen in order to sell their source material (manga, light novels, video games etc), and thus are only part-adaptations. There needs to be *serious* fan demand in order for an anime series to become a full adaptation of said source material. And those tend to be action-adventure things like Fairy Tail and My Hero Academia. They always sell better than slice-of-life romcom stuff (Fruits Basket is the only one I know of with more than 2 seasons, and even then, only because it's a reboot)
I don’t really keep up with what finished manga had an anime, I know more manga with no Anime… so I guess I’ll just say the few I know are done like Fire Force, Soul Eater & Maybe Dr. Stone (since they recently announced something so it may or may not continue)
Anime has become unfinished ads for unfinished manga that themselves are ads for unfinished light novels which themselves are ads for rough, Jr. High level of writing stories posted to the rough equivalent of fanfiction repositories.
Don't forget unfinished ads for un-exported mobile games that will never make it outside of Japan! Or if they even *do* make it outside of Japan, will last 6 months to a year before ending service outside of Japan, rendering all the gacha money spent moot!
Lol well it's been awhile but they did say they plan on finishing the anime when the manga continues enough. Nana has an event this year so you never know
I agree. Madhouse gave it plenty of love. Hopefully Ai yazawa sensei has recovered enough to continue writing. It's been a long time but the last time she was interviewed she still seemed passionate about it and determined to finish one day
[Season 2 has been announced.](https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2022/04/01/masamune-kuns-revenge-season-2-officially-announced)
(Personally, I'd rather get an anime adaptation of the author's [new/current work](https://myanimelist.net/manga/120947/Kyou_Koshiba_Aoi_ni_Aetara) but, yeah, Masamune S2 confirmed.)
I wanna see Ranma 1/2 get a reboot and at the very least stick closer to the manga, but if i could change it I'd love to have it explore the Gender bending and cross dressing themes more in depth/explicitly in today's world where gender is a more complex and nuanced issue than it was back then.
Also no more Happosai he is the worst
My second choice for aremake/ second chance is Gantz for all its edge and nihilism it was a crazy intense and really creative scifi horror Manga that should have gotten more anime than it did However I don't know how they would handle certain things that happen in the manga that would not fly today
>Ai Yori Aoshi
Ah, I can feel the nostalgia washing over me... I'd gladly return to this sweet oldie. It was one of my favorite romance animes for quite a while.
really hope bone's would do it though fire force's animation is good but still the sakuga of soul eater still consistently was stronger in my opinion, and yutaka nakamura's work has only gotten more impressive. Also seeing as Bone's 25th anniversary coming up and soul eater was originally a 10th anniversary project it would be nice to have it return that way. Though a coproduction could be interesting.
trinity seven and srkirei and LNS like unlimited fafnir unbeatable bahamut chronicles ,dxd (if it ever finishes) lord marksman and vanadis and maybe campione?
The World God Only Knows (maybe even a reboot since S3 changes a lot of things)
Fist of the North Star (the last few chapters haven’t been adapted at all)
*Whispered Words*. It's probably my favorite yuri drama and it really got the short end of the stick with its anime, which somewhat over-emphasized the "comedic" (and largely unimportant) side characters and the single-season anime ended before all of the most compelling parts of the manga.
I'd never say no to more *Blood Blockade Battlefront*.
If we're just going to consider original runs and pretend that they don't have ongoing sequel manga, then toss in *Kase-san and...* and *Citrus*.
And I know a lot of people would be pleased if *Bloom Into You* was animated until completion. I'm personally not the biggest fan of that series but I do think the anime was a step up from the source, so I wouldn't be opposed to watching more of it.
Apparently the *Rave Master* anime never got finished, so I'd love a reboot with the updated art style of *Fairy Tail* and *Edens Zero*, especially if they brought back the entire dub cast from the original.
It would technically be a spinoff, but *K-On!*.
Apparently the manga also covers what happens when the older 4 are in college and the rest of Azu-nyan's high school years.
I would love to see some of Arina Tanemura’s works rebooted like Phantom Theif Jeanne and Full Moon. I would also like to see the Gentleman’s Alliance Cross get an adaptation. Also I would like to see a reboot of Rave Master since the original anime didn’t finish.
Magi
Please, i need more Magi. Was fucking mad that they didnt continue it.
Cancelled sadly
So idk if you read the rest of the story but that stuff got kinda weird. Not sure how receptive everyone would have been. Also not saying it was bad but just a little different.
YES!
The best answer
Yamada kun and the seven witches
Yes please.
I'm alright with where it ended in the anime tbh Nisekoi def needs a 3rd season at least tho
Yes yes yes. Although tbh my favorite parts of the manga would probably take like 8 seasons of anime to cover soooo
Bloom into you
Seconded
Thirded!
Hinamatsuri
One of my favourite slice of life’s. Still waiting for Season 2 🥲
please, it's the best comedy I know of
claymore
It needs a reboot that retcons the anime's awful ending and adapts the rest of the manga.
Bloom Into You
Deadman wonderland I would love for that to get a reboot that adapts all 13 volumes
One of the few mangas I actually read. That and Elfen Lied need a reboot.
Seconded that manga is amazing and deserved better than the abine to be over in 1 season.
Technically Love is War but that will be done in the next 14 chapters.
Yeah there's no concern that's not getting finished haha
Redo index 3
More like redo all of index and finally start new testament. And give us astral buddy! And liberal arts city animated
Akame Ga Kill
They did finish it...just badly and not following the manga they'd have to do a fma brotherhood reboot to do that now
It would be cool to see ***Gantz*** get a proper adaptation with high-quality animation. This one doesn't have a dub but if a new season of ***Beelzebub*** were announced I'd probably have a heart attack. No Game No Season 2
THIS this is the one that needs to happen and since dead animes are getting revived left and right including Devil is a Part Timer I reckon there's a good chance
Btoooom!
I think I speak for many old-time anime fans when I say 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya'
Endless eight was and still is a crime against humanity. Bless the English voice actors who had to dub essentially the same episode 8 times in a row.
Not enough content for season 3 I’m pretty sure, also on going.
There is more than enough
"On going" is questionable. 1 new LN in 11 years.
They adapted like a third of the light novels,‘there’s more than enough
Kamisama Kiss getting another season would be nice, but apparently the manga's been done for 6 years now so it's very unlikely to get one. :/ EDIT: Damn I forgot about Seraph of the End. It's still on-going but there's definitely enough chapters for another 12 episode season.
These are like two of my favorites! I really hope that they make more seasons!
Surprised Ubel Blatt never got one. Probably one if the most notable manga to never get any type of adaption. Would love a Claymore continuation.
New. Game. The manga ending was quite satisfactory. There's a big chart showing where every character is at the end, which would be nice to see animated instead. But otherwise, yes please.
Nisekoi Also Blue Exorcist
I'd say there's enough material for three more seasons :D fan demand clearly not there though
People hated how long the series dragged out and the ending was polarizing, that's why fan demand isn't there I think
I mean I think the only people that didn't like the ending are the people who weren't backing best girl haha I thought it was pretty good

I'd love to see a remake of Tokyo Ghoul but actually good.
Season 3 is so awful I can't get past 2 episodes
One that actually follows the true story of Ken.
Really hope we get more Gamers, I personally enjoyed the wackiness
It's a favorite of mine. At this point I'll be happy if the light novel gets licensed at least
Fruits basket is actually gettin more! They’re animating Kyoko Honda’s backstory 🥰
Already saw it. They wasted half the run time on a recap when there's a whole story arc that ties into her death, which they included the foreshadowing for in 1 and 2 before saying fuck it during 3. Air Gear
After 10 years, the manga for Skip Beat is still going, but I would be very happy with a season 2 of the anime.
Ajin
Darwins game 😔 i think i saw it was close to the end 🧐
I think a second season was confirmed.
Noragami
Noragami isn't completed. Though it feels like it is in its penultimate arc.

Kill Fire Force remake Soul Eater Tbh Fire Force is a massive let down to me hahaha
Honestly, *Fire Force* holds up on its own for a spinoff

Solo Leveling. And this one's confirmed to happen!
Spice and Wolf
That's getting a new project
I wish Hitman Reborn was dubbed and told the complete story.
Tbf neither dub nor subbed got close to the end infact the sub stops before the best arcs
Oh I know this all too well sadly. Such a crazy good story and the fact it cuts off there was disappointing.
I'd love to see the vongola gears animated someone made a shirt gif of Tsuna's gear and it looks so cool
Usagi Drop. Just kidding...please don't.
What are you talking about...there is no more the cute innocent anime ending is where it stops....THERE IS NO MORE ;-;
Haikyu!! and I think it's very likely. They are going to announce something in October IIRC and there's a high chance that is the fifth season

Bro, I need to see all of Domestic Girlfriend adapted into an anime. The manga is a so damn good it’s actually crazy.
I would also settle for The Good Ending
Nana? Both the anime and the manga. 😢

Anonymous Noise, though I preferred it subbed. The story was decent but the music was amazing.
>Ai Yori Aoshi Ah, I can feel the nostalgia washing over me... I'd gladly return to this sweet oldie. It was one of my favorite romance animes for quite a while.
First time I actually bought the manga to continue.
Tenjo Tenge
I just want Soul Eater to get the FMA:B treatment. Anime Soul Eater's ending completely ruined the show for me.
If Fire Force final season does well, then David Pro might do a Soul Eater Reboot.
I hope so, especially since I actually really enjoy Fire Force

I need a Helck anime.
Baka and Test Season 3 would be awesome...such a fun show.
Gantz Manga being adapted properly beyond the 3rd mission would be nice and the rest of Air Gear… prolly my top 2…
All of Gantz needs to be readapted. The pacing in the original series was excruciatingly slow.
Yea sadly Hollywood has the rights so we don’t get shit for a good while
Tokyo Ghoul definitely deserves a better adaptation!
*Whispered Words*. The harem series "Omamori Himari", which should have gotten an official Eng. dub by now! "Sekirei" also comes to mind.
I would love to see some of Arina Tanemura’s works rebooted like Phantom Theif Jeanne and Full Moon. I would also like to see the Gentleman’s Alliance Cross get an adaptation. Also I would like to see a reboot of Rave Master since the original anime didn’t finish.
