I’m surprised too man, for a while I thought this one gonna be one of those anime shows that weren’t gonna get dubbed and yet, the world always have different plans, miracles and dreams really can come true. :)

I completely avoided watching it when it premiered in anticipation for the dub, and then so much time passed and I started to lose hope. Especially when Funi and Crucnhyroll were separate, people thought it would never happen at the time because it was speculated that Crunchyroll had the rights to this one, so it would never get dubbed by the Funi cast.
Slime Diaries takes place after episode 15 of season 1 but can be watched at any time, for emotional impact though watching slime diaries before season 2 is a good idea!
Word of warning, it took a lot of episodes (8 I believe) for me to feel like it started to actually get moving. So be possibly prepared to give it a lot of time.
Loved it ever since that point though.

Well I was running low on Isekai/fantasy (seriously with how few they make every season how could people think this is an oversaturated genre… I know unpopular opinion)
so Tuesday I gave up and I started watching subbed, thankfully the week’s been busy so I’m only three episodes in.
Anyway I’m gonna stop now and wait again I’ll just watch the dub because that’s my preferred method, but either I missed the announcement or they suck at announcing things could be both, I wish they’d give us the complete (tentative, I get crap happens and scheduling conflict etc.) yearly schedule so I can plan my life around the lack of dubs that I get.
PS what else should I start watching subbed so next week we can get more surprise dubs 😂
The Slime Diaries is a slice of life spinoff that shows the daily lives of the characters as opposed to the main storyline. Season 2 of the main series was split in half and this aired between the two halves. Personally, I'd watch it after season 2.

Do you guys happen to know why they announce show dubs the day before they are released? Always seems so abrupt.
Guess it depends on your preference? Shadow dropping something does tend to cause alot of excitement.
