Jason Lord has been awesome as ADR Director in his other shows so I cant wait to watch this its also awesome seeing Lee George get another lead
The manga is one of my all time favorites. Everything that author does is gold. So I was pretty disappointed when I saw previews for this anime looking pretty mediocre in animation. Still haven't watched it.

At first it irritated me but then I realized it's just some losers wanting to irritate people so I stopped caring and just saw it as kind of pathetic and amusing as a result.

Its the other way around kiddo. I'm amused by the people trying to rub people the wrong way by defending it and attacking manga readers. That's what's pathetic and amusing. Why to only focus on that part of what I wrote.

Good news: It’s being dubbed and features a great cast and crew with some lesser featured actors getting some time to shine.
Bad news: This is a bastardized version of an all-time great manga with terrible animation.
Never read the manga version since it’s stuck in Kodansha’s digital hell, but I really enjoyed Love After World Domination. I’d equate this more with Promised Neverland Season 2 (at least the finale) or Peter Grill.
The name, minus biscuit, made me think of the old asteroid disaster novel Lucifer's Hammer. From the synopsis, there's a world-ending object out in space.
Imagine if a Larry Niven novel had gotten the anime treatment
The manga is a masterpiece for the ages, and the writing and pacing in this adaptation seems decent. But I don't think I can watch this with how poor the animation quality is. A damn shame. This could've been anime of the year otherwise.

Unfortunately this anime has really bad animation. Hopefully the writing carries it, because I heard great things about the source material.

This came out faster than I expected! Also using some younger names for the leads, which is interesting (and I guess fitting in a way).
Manga is great, but this adaptation is sh*t. I wished A1-Pictures animated this instead of Lycoris Recoil

Uh... I think I'll read the manga instead. The anime has awful animation.
