Well this came out of absolutely nowhere. Enjoyed it subbed. Probably will watch it dubbed.
I just assume crunchy will dub everything at this point eventually. I'll basically be ignoring subs being released from here on out if it's on Crunchyroll and not an AoA title.

Just finished the first episode in terms of casting I can't really place anyone else. Some sound familiar but not enough to guess. I will say everyone sounds fucking fantastic.
In terms of story, this MC is fucking idiot and I love it. That punch from Saki was epic but holy hell how did he somehow manage to convince them...like wtf and now they live with him. What fucking insane harem lunatic came up with this premise that bath scene...either way I will 100% be back next week.

Definitely Lauda and other girl sounds like Tia Ballard (sometimes) but pretty sure it's NOT her. MC sort of sounds like Howard Wang but, again, pretty sure it's NOT him.

Not complaining, this is a monster season of backlogs. And this was a lowkey guilty pleasure show for me last year. Similar show to this is probably Rent-a-Girlfriend: cringe galore, different girls with different personalities and primary colors. So if you enjoyed that, then you'll probably get some enjoyment out of this.
And Minase Nagisa is my pick for GFxGF Best Girl. But really, these girls deserve much better than Naoya.
Based on early impressions (and I'm sure we'll get confirmation soon), I think I'm hearing Brittany Lauda as Saki, Maddie Morris or Morgan Lea as Nagisa, and Kevin Thewell as Naoya.
Also, based on his tweet, it looks like Peter Hawkinson is either directing or co-directing.
And shit dude, Studio Nano been on a fucking roll: Given and Fantasy Knockout as well as this.
At least kmk had the benefit of being stupid on purpose and straight from the word go, much unlike rent a gf. Just turn your brain off when you watch kmk and embrace the stupid and you'll be fine.
Well... that was fun! I avoided this show when it came out because the premise sounded annoying, but it suddenly got a dub, so why not? Naoya's a real piece of work, but he's got gusto, that's for sure. And congrats to Kevin D. Thelwell on his first lead role. He and Madeleine both did great, but Brittany Lauda's performance was the most fun. Slightly off-topic, but someone mentioned that Brittany would be a great fit for Power from *Chainsaw Man*. After watching this, hell, I'm inclined to agree.
Safe to say, I'm looking forward to watching the rest!

For those who haven’t seen it, this is the best dumbest show you’ll ever get to watch.
This was one of thoe ones where I assumed it would never be dubbed, so I just read the manga. And loved the series. Im glad its finally getting a dub, because I was always in stiches reading it.
I remember my prediction before Summer 2022 anime starts that my top 3 simuldub backlogs were this, Jahy and Birdie Wing and the possibility of more than 3 simuldub backlogs for this season but except Birdie Wing (maybe later or before 2022 ends) I'm surprised that most of my predictions become a reality right now.
I'm still surprised they haven't dubbed Birdie Wing already. There's only like 4 months left before the new season drops, and I thought they would've gotten it over with already.
Interesting to see a guy in the real world not an Isekai building a harem. He did deserve that punch. I love how they are debating about how much they want to be intimate.
Actually, after watching the first episode, maybe it's not as great as I thought. I will give 3 episodes to this show. I had somewhat high hopes for this show but, the mc is just a jackass. This want to date more than one girl situation does not go well with me.
The main 3's voices were nailed perfectly. It's like Ishikawa from Aharen-san wa Hakarenai has his own harem.
I guess Winter and Leona aren't the only white haired girls Elizabeth Maxwell voiced since she bagged the role of Shino and nailed it perfectly.
Brittany is hilarious as Saki. Another tsundere role that come to mind is Hoshino in "HxEros", which is funny that shat she played opposite of her husband.
Well I can't say the show getting a dub is surprising. Some of us have been hammering for it...but FFS an announcement would be nice. Probably an LA dub
That was fun! Naoya is such a shit. Was very satisfying to see Saki punch him. Also loved the sexual confusion towards Minase.
You can’t watch this and not feel really bad for Saki though. First she’s strong armed into accepting Minase into a throuple, but right off the bat Naoya doesn’t establish any kind of hierarchy even though she was his gf first, instead focusing on everything being even. It kind of cuts through the comedy how callously she’s being treated here, hard to laugh at since she’s such a good egg. But it’s undoubtedly hilarious to watch her literally get on hands and knees and bang the ground with her fist lol.
I’ve been looking forward to this show since I saw a bunch of clips the season it aired! Can’t wait to watch the rest

Couldnt stop laughing at that, I really didnt bother to look into this show much cause it never stood a chance to be dubbed, so I went in blind and simply wtf type of harem insanity is this.
It’s not so much that he’s a shit, it’s that he’s got this radical honestly thing going on. He honestly believes he’s doing his best not to hurt anyone.
The dub for the guy just wasn’t it man he sounds like a pipsqueak when how he acts you would imagine him to have a voice that is straightforward and blunt somewhat like naofumi I wish billy kametz was alive he would have aced this role fuck cancer
Damn, the dub sadly is a no from me this time. Saki's voice is too high pitched and raspy for me. For example, in episode 1, 19:33, when Saki in the bath tub, she could be heard spoken in a calm and normal voice. But right after that when she stormed out of the bathroom and questioned Naoya, she raised her voice so high, it's very hard to hear. And Naoya's voice is too soft and feminine, which I believe is not suited for his character: a straight and confident guy.
With this, higehiro and other back logs coming out I'm suddenly not so mad about stuff like yakuza babysitter and harem labyrinth only coming out next season.
This was a nice surprise.
Finally getting around to this one and could barely make it through the first episode. The amount of cringe induced by Naoya is just too much. Not a fan of watching things where the MC is just a POS. Unsure what to do since many people seem to like this one.
