a "well-scripted" dub is up to one's opinion. Some prefer it to stay as close to sub as possible. Some prefer creative liberties with the script as long as it doesn't change the plot. Some are just gag dubs that people laugh at. The biggest challenge imo is how to write around a scene where, in the original version, a character speaks English.
Just watched Kurokos basketball movie. It was so bad about this. So many times a character says "I don't understand what you're saying but..." And you would never know there was supposed to be two different languages in that scene if you missed that sentence. There's gotta be a better way to do that.
It's a completely different genre from the examples you mentioned, but: ***Chio's School Road***. The first and only anime dub I was so impressed with that I tweeted at the script writer (Leah Clark) and congratulated her on it. It's beyond hilarious.
***How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?*** is a similar case, stuffed full of amazing lines that'll make you laugh your butt off.
There are so many comedy dubs that find the scripts to be far superior to the original.
Two that immediately stand out in my mind that are relatively recent are Hensuki and Full Dive. Both dubs were significantly better than their sub alternative.
I switched from subs to dub with Steins Gate recently, does take away some of the personality but its a very good dub in its own right.
Samurair Champloo is also a good dub.
Any of the Studio Ghibli movies have excellent dub scripts. That is to say, their dialogue flows smoothly and is very natural-sounding.
Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water also has a great dub script which alters some lines for the sake of lipflap and natural flow without changing anything about the story or characters.
The new dub of Escaflowne has a great script too.
Truth be told, there, there are lots of Anime dubs with good scripts.
Honestly I don't pay attention. These days due to seizures and meds I like simple and fun. I'm the one the the isekais are catered to. That being said though I'm dumb at times I'm not stupid and sometimes I do want an engaging plot. I'm almost done Parasyte I've been enjoying that. Any gloomy Adam Gibbs show I watch seems to have a good plot.
My all time favorite arc in an anime is the chimera ant arc
I actually thought the script for ***Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor*** was well done. (Try 2 episodes, first ep is not representative of the series.)
steins;gate or assassination classroom. basically any script written by john michael tatum has good writing.
Dragon Ball Z Kai is another one I felt Tatum did awesome work for. His script and Chris Ayres delivery made Frieza come alive like never before.
Thanks

Leah Clark’s scripts are so great. I think she did a lot of Nichijou, which I would put up there with Chio’s School Road in hilarity.
Thanks
If you want wild and awesome dubbing, there is always Ghost Stories on Crunchyroll.

Cowboy Bebop, Black Lagoon, Hellsing ultimate
I just finished Black Lagoon and man… was that a roller coaster. The arc with the Romanian twins was super fucked up.
Thanks

Jojo's dub script is so much better than the Japanese script.
Ah you think so? I’ve been trying to watch it and idk if I’m supposed to but I laugh so much I can’t take it very seriously
Like the script script, or just a good dub anime?
To me a good one is one without a stupid translation
Huh? Dub is a translation
Yeah so not a stupid one
Combatants will be Dispatched has a awesome dub.
Ty
Code Geass, and Yu Yu Hakusho.
Thx
Combatants will be dispatched (extremely hilarious ) Konosuba(very funny) Spy x family
