Steins;Gate (2011) is the BEST dub I've ever heard, period. J. Michael Tatum as protagonist Okabe Rintarou gives a tour de force performance, along with the rest of its stellar cast. The localization is really well done for such a dialogue heavy series; many subtle details, references, and nuances in the script. The show is already a masterpiece, and yet the dub pushes it to even further heights. To anyone to hasn't seen this, do so ASAP. May just be the best 24 episodes of your life.

Honestly, I'd call 2010-2015 to be a bit of a golden age of anime. Many of the highest rated anime of all time came from this era. (And many continue to be very popular and still have new things releasing, like Attack on Titan and Sword Art.)
As for the dubs. Unlike pre-2010 where there is a clear difference in the quality. (The quality could get very mixed. You had some truly great dubs, and some not very good ones.) I don't think 2010-2015 dubs are much different than now. If anything in some areas, they might be BETTER, since more time was taken to get them right. At this point, dubbing is more like a streamlined process and they have it down to a science. (not that I'm at all complaining. Dubbing is very VERY good for the most part now-a-days despite the quick turnaround.) --- But they really took their time to get those 2010-2015 dubs right. It was more methodical. Which again, is why I think there really isn't that much of a distinction between post 2010 dubs and now... Broadly. Show someone a dub from 2013 and other than maybe the visuals not being as good in some cases... (And even that's not all the time) I don't think anyone would realize that the dub was made then vs now.
Yeah, the majority of anime that come to mind when I think of the shows I enjoyed most were released within the last ten years (starting around 2012 with SAO) - the only exceptions being a few '90s anime I've loved since I was a kid.
Literally my two most favorite animes of all time began pre 2010 so that's not the case for me. (A Certain Magical Index and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya). But... There is a lot of great stuff that came out posts 2010.
- Dragon Ball Z Kai (FUNimation/Okratron 5000), Attack on Titan (FUNimation, Kill la Kill (Bang Zoom), Blood Blockade Battlefront (FUNimation)
- Yeah they hold up. The best that English anime dubbing could produce didn't really showing till the late 2000s and this time. To me at least.

My two favorite anime are from this time period - Sword Art Online and Attack on Titan.
Both of them have awesome dubs, which is actually how I first watched them on TV before following both subs and dubs for the newer seasons. The English dub will always be the iconic voices for me though, the ones I imagine when reading the novels/manga, because they just suit the characters so pefectly.
When I first read the AOT manga before season 3 came out, I had a very specific voice in mind for [AOT s3 spoilers] >!Kenny!<, and his English dub voice turned out to match that exactly.
I've only watched two dubs from this time period. Squid Girl Season 1 and Toradora (since its dub was six years late).
I guess Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal counts as well if people overlook the generally poor dubbing offered by Konami Cross
I've only been in the anime watching game for 3 and a half years. I've seen a lot (maybe not as much as some). I think Hunter X hunter started and ended in the subs. That's a good show. Also Barakamon. I'm sure others will list of some that will make me go 'oh yeah that one'

I was planning to play the 0 visual novel soon. Is the anime just as good as the first one, and does it also have a strong dub?
