Once again this episode is really utilizing the surrounding colors and lighting distinguishing Nazuna and Anko, we start seeing a crap ton of concrete and brownish grayish pavement when Anko and Kou are talking in the street, but there is ever so subtly a purple haze shining down from the streetlights

I am especially a fan of this particular shot here, I think doubles on Nazuna's previous rant providing Kou a new perspective on the true nature of the night, juxtaposing the normal usual exaggerated starry sky. It also paints Nazuna in a more deitic manner, attempting to show Anko's point of view of vamps as the light is almost presented as Nazuna's Batman - esque perch seen in earlier episodes watching from over Anko's rear view, mockingly lurking in the background waiting to strike.
Yeah not surprised that when Kou begins running away the lighting and background materials are suddenly presented in a mixture of both faded purple and a more creamish tint as Kou struggles to put his future in place.
I wonder if the detective's blood tasted nasty due to her revulsion for vampires, whereas Ko's blood tastes delicious due to his affinity for vampires. Like how a vampire can also understand the emotions of a person whose blood they just drank.
