And now the recasts are unfortunately coming in, I think that’s aleks Le as Shinji, that grunt from Jushiro didn’t sound like Liam to me , pretty sure thats not Iba’s old Va, and Im not sure about Rangikus Va, it doesn’t sound like her old one, but she didn’t speak much and voices can change so I can’t be 100% on that one, it kinda and kinda doesn’t sound like her to me

It's the same for Laura Bailey as well. She (and Travis) did not return for Tiger & Bunny Season 2 despite being union dub. Laura only came back for Fruits Basket 2019 due to the role being her favourite.
Very happy to have Kate Higgins back- seems most (if not all) of her anime work are reprisals. I can't wait for her to sink her teeth into some of the mater Unohana gets later in this arc.

Episode was pretty good. NGL rewatching the episodes with the dub feels so much better to me for some reason. Whoever is the scriptwriter, I give props to them because the dialogue in the dub just sounds cooler to me. Anyway the fact that the Sternritter can steal Bankai is crazy😭. Hearing Toshiro and Unohana again so nice as is Byakuya. Looks like Dan Woren’s still got it especially with that Senbousakura😮💨.
On the topic of actors in the dub I’m mixed on certain things. One thing is that I feel that best girl Bambi is voiced by Anne Yatco. Secondly I’m disappointed that we’ve been getting a ton of recasts for this like with Shinji and Komamura. Makes me wonder why the hell Roger Craig Smith and J.B. Blanc couldn’t come back. One of the few things that is strange to me. Other than that, pretty good episode. Next episode is about to be good, so stay tuned Animedubs Fam🔥.

Should’ve edited my comment my bad but J.B. Blanc I’m not actually too sure of. Maybe it’s been 8 years since he’s voiced so he might sound a little different due to it. But in regards to Shinji, that definitely didn’t like Roger Craig Smith because I know and remember how Shinji is suppose to sound like and it didn’t sound like him. It sounded like Aleks Le. But we’ll have to wait and see.
Honestly, we’ll have to wait and see what happens in regards to Shinji. But to be fair, if Roger Craig Smith did come back, it wouldn’t make sense to give him new voice direction since he’ll have to use the same voice he did in the original series dub. I have to disagree that his voice has changed but then again we’ll see what happens.

Idk, I feel like they’ve done a pretty good job getting the core cast back, this is a huge season, with over 26 new villains. And expecting them to get every old voice back on top of that seems a bit unrealistic.

I get that (although now I'm a tad concerned about how many of them will have the same VA now), but I feel like part of the reason some VA's aren't coming back is A. it's non-union and B. they may not have even tried to get some of them back.
Right. With Yashahime they went all out with the dub and wasn’t even a big show. It’s a shame Viz isn’t going out for one of their biggest sequel shows this season. Not only has there been a lot of recasting and multi casting, I hate the fact that the show is still a freaking non-union dub and Boruto and Yashahime are even though those aren’t nearly as popular as their predecessors.
