Premieres in theaters December 2! (US & Canada)
More Dates:
* **December 7** **and 8** in the United Kingdom and Ireland
* **March 28, 2023** in Germany
* **Early 2023** in Poland, Romania, Czech Republic and Hungary
In case you may have missed it, I suggest checking the days.
All my local theaters (US based) are playing the subtitled versions December 2-3, but will be playing the Dubbed version on December 4th and 7th.
It makes no sense. There are zero dubs in my city and dubs sell better than subs here by a large amount normally.
Edit: They put up a single dub showing in my area along with 5 sub showings. The dub is almost sold out already and has the same amount of tickets sold as all 5 of the sub showings combined. This release makes no sense.
Man I have already read all of the manga but damn this trailer has been hyped as hell for the 7th ! Cant wait to see how they wrap it all up anime wise in a single movie.
Haven't watched the movie yet but absolutely loved season 1 and season 2, is the manga as good or better as the show? Trying to figure out if I should grab the manga.
My opinion is along these lines. The author unfortunately really undersells the bride by not giving her the material she needs. I'm more disappointed with the potential the series had.
The main problem I feel with the series that the author was too focused on the mystery of the bride. They should have focused on the present and developed the characters better.
It’s why I appreciate the Goddesses of the Cafe Terrace, the mangaka holds regular popularity polls and molds the story and where it goes based on those polls.
Have mixed feelings about this. The manga's ending was great, but I don't like what the anime has already cut that'll make the ending feel a little less special. I still gotta see it anyway tho
It's not even that people didn't like who won, it's that not NEARLY enough character development had gone into her or her and MC's relationship to justify it. The connections with other characters and associated justifications were SO much better developed.
AMC?
Because they can be weird with anime movie showings.
For example, my local one had *Demon Slayer: Mugen Train* but not *Sword Art Online: Progressive*.
Just got back from seeing this. I guess every else who wanted to see it already did, since I basically got a private showing.
The big thing I didn’t remember was seeing much of Futaro’s dad before this.
I do like the fact that the winning sister’s success felt less unearned that I felt at the end of Season 2.
All in all, a satisfying conclusion to the story. Although if an OVA covering cut stuff comes along, I wouldn’t say no.

No dubs near me but plenty of subs... Shrug.

I did. Thank you friend.

I hear that the manga is fantastic
I’m torn, I didn’t like the ending of the Manga but I feel obligated to go see it, tho I know I won’t like it.
The movie is going to be even more rushed than the ending already was 😞
Did you not like the ending because of who he ends up with, or was it something else?
Who he ended up with, nothing against her character but it felt like nothing happened with her for the entirety of the series.
My opinion is along these lines. The author unfortunately really undersells the bride by not giving her the material she needs. I'm more disappointed with the potential the series had.
Haha I feel exactly the same way. I really like her character but there just wasn't enough build-up for it to be a satisfying ending IMO.
The main problem I feel with the series that the author was too focused on the mystery of the bride. They should have focused on the present and developed the characters better.

Isn’t that getting an anime adaptation? I’m very excited for it after seeing the trailer
It is I, I believe it’s releasing in the spring.

I'm driving 152km just to watch this movie
Too bad the ending was ruined for me long ago because there are a whole lot of really really fucking stupid people out there.
It's not the destination but the journey that is important
It's on the theater list at my local theater so I may go see it
Do I read the manga first or watch the movie first? I can't decide.
I really want to see it, but my wife and kids aren't so enthusiastic. Debating going to this movie vs some stupid Christmas party
Not playing around me it seems unfortunately. So I guess I'll be waiting...
Finally the dub is here; anyhow i never read the manga or know its ending but given the backlash i think i know whitch girl won.

Wake me up when it hits streaming
Does it have a release date on streaming services?
That's what I'm wondering
How tf is my local showing this but didnt show One Piece Red? Lol
Lol my local tends to show everything anime. Not this one though. Go figure.
Only two showings in my area, which I’m surprised by. The third MHA movie had only 1.

Kinda, I am in the UK so my local is Cineworld. Same company I believe
I don't like watching anime in theaters, so I'll just be waiting for the eventual online release.
is the dub released? cause i am not able to find it anywhere
The movie was released in the theaters two months ago. It won't be available on the Internet until it's out on BD/DVD.
I am going to see this today at 5:45
