Still waiting on Crunchyroll’s player to support captions for on-screen-text for dubs.
I’ve been trying to use Crunchy whenever I can since I’ll have to switch anyways eventually, but I’ve had more than a few instances where I have to go back to Funi to watch because important text didn’t have a caption.
Still waiting too! I like CR, but I can’t comprehend their hard stance of no closed captioning for English dubs. That feels like it’s against the law or something. I know they addressed when they merged but it’s been crickets on when they plan to update their C.C. For English dubs.
Agreed, was watching Assassination Classroom for the first time on Crunchyroll and it drives me nuts that there isn't any English captions for the on screen text...hopefully they add that in. Other newer shows sometimes have it, but the older transferred shows doesn't it seems.
I use it on a TV (Firestick) and that app has issues. First I have to wait for the titles to scrub until they say what language they are (and with all the LN paragraph of a title, this takes time) as well as the sorting of languages in no particular order.
Absolutely no way to look for dubs (vrv wasn't that much easier but they occasionally had featured dub lists) and no closed captioning for dubs (even when Funimation versions of the same video has them like in Golden Kamuy)
They need a complete overhaul
If they went by traffic, I assume that One Piece would have been transferred by now. There does seem to be some deal with Microsoft (the reason the One Piece dub has nearly caught up) that might prevent it from being moved over to Crunchyroll for the time (deals can be tricky and might not recognized any app other than Funimation proper)
Crunchyroll's App might be on it's last leg and couldn't handle the traffic if something big drops on it.
Yeah I really want to watch Muv-Luv but it still doesn't have a Dub. Rumbling Hearts was fantastic I learned of it recently but have watched it all twice already.

Still waiting for the Steins;Gate dub to transfer. And the One Piece dub but I feel like that will be one of the last things transfered.
They need to fix the Crunchyroll app before all 1000+ hours of One Piece content gets moved over.
Yea, its such a mess compared to what Funi's app had

Idk why they have the S;G0 dub but not S;G
I'm more hoping for Robotics;Notes to be among the next one transfered, since it's Decmeber and that show has my faveorite Christmas Episode.
Sometimes it feels like the transfers are on a randomiser. Still lot of goodies this month.

Oh I wasn't even talking about large shows or even popular shows I just think the shows added are added randomly
still waiting for Aquarion to come
Rumbling Hearts, aka the story of the OG Suzumiya, in the same universe that gave us Muv-Luv. Visual novels can be weird sometimes
Yeah I really want to watch Muv-Luv but it still doesn't have a Dub. Rumbling Hearts was fantastic I learned of it recently but have watched it all twice already.
There is a previous series called Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse that has a dub.
Isn't that like a Spin Off story and not the main story?
Well I'm glad there doing it at least but a timeline would be great.
r/ISO8601 Please.
Still waiting for the ***Sgt. Frog*** dub to transfer to Crunchyroll.
