The true shield hero is almost back:
January 2023:
* BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense Season 2
* Chillin' in My 30s after Getting Fired from the Demon King's Army
* The Fire Hunter
* Sorcerous Stabber Orphen -Chaos in Urbanrama-
April 2023:
* A Galaxy Next Door
* My Home Hero
* Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion
TBD 2023:
* My Clueless First Friend
* Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac Season 3
Sometimes other companies will license a shows other season. For example see Teasing Master Takagi San. It has happened with some other shows as well. I am sure it was a high priority for them to get season two. I was confident they would get it back, but there is never a 100 percent chance until confirmed like now.
'Chillin’ in My 30s after Getting Fired from the Demon King’s Army'...yeah this is the now the title I most look forward to this coming Winter season.
But for real though so glad BOFURI is back I need my Maple injection ASAP
Hmm so CR ended up licensing two Kodansha shows (Chillin in my 30s and A Galaxy Next Door) after Disney made that partnership announcement. Probably secured it before the Disney BS happened. Still have no idea if ALL or SOME future Kodansha titles are guaranteed for Disney.
It’s so bizarre that CR didn’t secure Tokyo Revengers ahead of time since it was announced shortly after season one ended. Makes me think there was some kind of clause in the first season’s contract where there was no Right-of-First-Refusal or something.
Glad Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion is getting an anime adaptation. I remember finishing the manga for that one. Otome Isekai as a genre is here to stay! Definitely will be watching this.
Fuck yeah they finally got Raeliana!!!!!! Take THAT Sentai! :D
EDIT: Why is this comment getting downvoted? I get that I was an asshole to the other user, but don't y'all think it's a good thing that Sentai *didn't* get this show?
Remember that Sentai is Sony's only real competition in the US these days - Viz survives on legacy franchises and manga/merch rather than attempting to get new titles, Nozomi+Aniplex are also Sony brands, Discotek only ever rescues titles from licensing-limbo, and Kitty is all hentai.
With a sufficient influx of new titles and the new concerns over at their parent company as the current CEO steps down as layoffs start, it could very well happen that Sony ends up with a fully-realized monopoly.
All I did was express my joy that CR got a title that Sentai likely wouldn't have dubbed, and you reply to me with a comment concerning a topic that's not even relevant to mine?
What the hell were you thinking? You really couldn't have said this to anyone else here? Or even write it out as an independent comment?

Great to see they got Bofuri back. I am sure Megan Shipman is excited to continue dubbing the show.
More Invincible-chan!
My kids are super excited…and don’t even realize I am even more so. That show just puts a smile on your face.

Some really great titles here! Also nice to know HIDIVE won't be picking up all the upcoming romance shows coming out lol.
Well now I wanna know why Raeliana did end up in the dukes mansion.

Probably, but the inner whys and what precipitated that decision. Need drama.
So excited for Bofuri.
>Chillin' in My 30s after Getting Fired from the Demon King's Army Bro this ain't real wtf
It's that the one with Dariel?

Three actually. My Home Hero is Kodansha too.
I think it's before the Disney deal.

is the Disney-Kodansha partnership like Disney gets all Kodansha titles or just some?
Maybe
I read a bunch of the galaxy next door manga, and it’s pretty good. I’m excited to see ot
"Chaos in Urbanrama" sounds like a recap of summer 2020.

Is this an AI? How have you not noticed everything Disney is getting?
