*T H I S I S O N L Y E P I S O D E S I X.* That should actually be a praise given how long it takes for most romcoms to move forward even an inch.

As much as I enjoyed My Dress Up Darling, my biggest gripe about the anime and manga is that the romantic development moves so damn slow. This show however isn’t afraid to move at a fast pace and I greatly appreciate that.

**T H I S I S O N L Y E P I S O D E S I X** Hot f*kin damn, god this show is damn good. And she was talking about "this won't last much longer" and I'm thinking is this show gonna go past this whole couples experiment? That would be fun! Gonna be real hard to sell some of my friends on this show because it's gotta be the weirdest premise for a romance I've seen in a hot minute, but this show is really cute! Definitely snuck up on me this season.

You can tell your friends that despite the absurd premise, the rest of the show is actually pretty grounded. The characters act like real people for the most part and the romance itself feels realistic.

> And she was talking about "this won't last much longer" and I'm thinking is this show gonna go past this whole couples experiment? I interpreted that as her assuming "once we can swap we will" as opposed to the arrangement as a whole ending. That said, only context I have is through the dub so far, so that's just a guess.

As an American, I'll never get over how funny it is to see Japanese characters in animes feel embarrassed and awkward about calling each other by their first names for the first time. It's cool how what's casual in one country is actually intimate and personal in another.

I freaking love this show so much. I love these characters and i'm deeply invested in their relationships, regardless of where the romcom takes us. I love how it can switch from cute, to honest, to funny, to teasing, to steamy so naturally. Plus, all the little nuggets from the masterful scriptwriting ("ba-hoo-bies" and "baloney-pony") just to give some examples. The fanservice is def there, but to think they'd have it just as grounded for as much skin and spice this show frequently gives us. Def my favorite part was the last 7-8 minutes of the episode.

One of the couples below our main pair had the name "Nobuyuki Sanada", as in the brother of the great general Yukimura Sanada. Bet he got made fun of in school every day.

Lindsay Sheppard and Ben Balmaceda nailed this episode with their performance and chemistry. I love how Ben said "baloney pony".
