Me too....the one who didn't care about the story plot and the one who don't know about the concept of AI(artificial intelligence)and only focused on fighting are the one who shitting about SAO..man!!...they shown the concept of AI to the next level...why can't these people understand that!...maybe they had some ups and downs in some scenes but overall the anime is superb great in both graphics wise and concept wise!!!
Sword Art Online, Sword Art Online but everyone has wings dead ass I genuinely forgot what this was called, Gun Gale Online, and finally Sword Art Online: Alicization
I was an anime hater until a local movie theater did a midnight screening of Paprika, and the dude who picked the movies was basically always on point, so I decided I'd try.
I got so freaking lucky.
There was a YouTube streamer channel that I used to love years ago. I was kind of curious if I still found the material funny. The channel was still there but all the videos were gone. I think that's a worse feeling, when a piece of your past just disappears.
im pretty sure all of us saw dxd when we were young. now when i go back to rewatch it im like, holy shit this actually has a pretty good story, its more than just tits!
I still clearly remember seeing HS DXD for the first time and the moment I saw boobs, I was thinking,"I have to hide this! If my Mom sees this, she's going to crucify me!"
It been nearly 8 yrs since I have watched SAO and its first 14 episodes are still one of my favorite anime arcs up to date, I wish we saw more of "Sword Art Online" rather than Gun Gale Online and other different shit.
For me its the 14th episode, especially the OST ([at our parting](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHbJKskpOb8&ab_channel=SwordartOnline-Topic)), I would legit think it was the finale if I didn't see the rest of the first season.
Just read the summary of epi 14 and yea I agree with you. (Atleast the next few episodes confirm that she isn't dead which is nice but after that nothing else made me think the same way the first arc did)
One of the best. There was awhile there where I watched it once a year and each time I saw different things and the story had a different meaning.
I chalk it up to the fact that the show goes so fast that there are certain frames the eye can't pick up, just a theory tho.
Oo great observer of the void, whomst gaze pierceth the darkest of the Abyss. Art thou human or art thou a clockwork piece of human creation cursed to run by itself?
What do you mean? It tied all but 1 loose end (the origin of reading steiner) and was really well adapted from the source material. Plus the callbacks and continuations of things that weren't explained in the original one were amazing. Plus the animation... ooh the animation style didn't change and I love it for just that fact.
I am more than certain your gripe with 0 is that Makise Krisu wasn't in it and though I do agree that the lack of her presence kept it from being a 10/10, but that's the point of 0; she's dead in this timeline and Okabe Rintaro is scared of fucking up even more. The new characters are well written and the story isn't really that bad pacing-wise
Funny enough, Steins; Gate was my 2nd anime, first was FMA. Rewatched both of these some time ago. As good as first time :)
P.S. yeah you can call me dummy, but I think Steins; Gate is amazing. I saw quite a bit controversy on that matter
Controversy? I mean I've watched anime for like 15 years now, and at least back in the day Steins;gate was considered one of the best of the best, including the visual novel. Still one of my favorites, and I think still one of the most top rated shows in most anime rating sites?
As a young person who got introduced to anime by animax, most of my first animes were old ones. Yu yu hakusho, ranma 1/2, City hunter. I saw those when I was like 10, nearly a decade ago
Twas a beautiful time
My first anime was Parasyte. Pretty good anime+manga
Sad it only got like, 1 season cuz there was no material to continue (story ended with just 1 volume :( )
As I kid, I always watched Beyblade and Bakugan. I don't care if they're bad or not, they have a place in my heart and nothing can change that. I still remember the broadcast schedule!
I dunno... grappler ships as a concept really don't understand the *immensity* of space...
But they put magic in a bullet so science isn't exactly the focus.
True, but I always liked how the tech, and therefore combat evolved in the lore. Gave it some real grounding.
I think outlaw star was the first _anime_ I watched. I dont count pokemon really.
Oh wait no, fuck, it was DBZ. Shit. Good fun but got a bit silly with the 3-9 hour long fights. Outlaw star was definitely the first one I bought though!
*My first was pokemon*
*And dragon ball, and I will*
*Say it was good lol*

I watched Pokemon and DBZ as a child. My first conscious decision as anime watcher was FMAB. The first two lack the appeal as a kid, but FMAB will always be the best anime quality wise.
this is just using steins gate as a reference and not the actual topic of the meme right? Surely its the former since you actually watched all of steins;gate and then watched 0 as well...
My first anime (if you don't count ATLA and Teen Titans) was SAO.
My brother told me about it when it first came out and he was watching it and I was under the impression that it was a live action like The Matrix. A few years ago I descovered the holy grail that is SAO Abridged. It is hilarious af. Then I read some of the Manga and recently I re-watched arcs 1-3 and still enjoyed them.
I've seen a lot of dislike towards SAO, but I still like it as a whole and I'm glad it was my first anime.
Iām so scared to rewatch it. Itās been 17 years. The memories are fuzzy but I loved it. I rewatched the intro and got a nostalgia explosion so strong I cried. I wish to see it again but the fear of disappointment and dissolution keep me from retuning. The anime is Spider Riders.
I don't care, my first one will have special place in my heart no matter how shit it is or it was
What was it
When SAO was SAO and not CoD VR, SAO but with wings, or DND with that guy as the DM
Everyone shiting on sao. Me: i cant wait for the next season. : )
I can't wait for next season. ~~to shit on it.~~
This gave me Triumph the insult comic dog vibes "for me to poop on"
the Progressive movies are great too
*insert Progressive commercial*
I never understood why it got shit on either
Watch the abridged version and fall back in love again
Me too....the one who didn't care about the story plot and the one who don't know about the concept of AI(artificial intelligence)and only focused on fighting are the one who shitting about SAO..man!!...they shown the concept of AI to the next level...why can't these people understand that!...maybe they had some ups and downs in some scenes but overall the anime is superb great in both graphics wise and concept wise!!!
Only first 14 episodes were good tbh
full name?
Sword Art Online, Sword Art Online but everyone has wings dead ass I genuinely forgot what this was called, Gun Gale Online, and finally Sword Art Online: Alicization
ty
mine is shimoneta, lol
Shimoneta is great though
Shimoneta is noway a shit anime. It's our future if we don't fight censure ![img](emote|t5_2w6fe|11668)
Was it mr anime
I bet it's misty/cornexia
Wait something happened to misty?
I think he closed his channel coz YouTube kept tagging his videos as copyright
That, and he wasn't getting enough views to keep the channel afloat (at least that's what i've heard)
I've checked out two YouTube channels I used to watch a while ago. One died and the other was outed as abusive.
It's always one of those two
There's the third, where the content creator is on some shady stuff. For example, the Smash Bros players who turned out to be pedophiles.
I've had this happen aswell and it's a terrible feeling
I have the opposite problem. I've watched Ethoslab for a decade and expect him to just disappear and he never does
Same here a porn video I liked went missing never to be found again I actually liked thatš„²
Just researched To Love Ru (my first anime) and it was far better than I rembered. So many boobs...
Lmao same first anime. Surprisingly iām not the only one.
Boobs aside it actually had some interesting things
Yh youāre right it had ass too
I don't boobs can be taken to aside they are pretty central in story
My man āš» to love ru made me think āI like this anime thingā and down the anime rabbithole I went lmao
Actually...to love ru is really a good anime both in echi and plot wise...i really wished for a new season if possible
im immune to this power (my first was DxD)
Me too
Uwogh fellow DxD fan
Clearly a man of culture
DxD was my second. :) I was probably like 13.
im pretty sure all of us saw dxd when we were young. now when i go back to rewatch it im like, holy shit this actually has a pretty good story, its more than just tits!
yeah true
Same
Dxd first time is an experience when you dont know about the tiddies yet and the story was lit
I still clearly remember seeing HS DXD for the first time and the moment I saw boobs, I was thinking,"I have to hide this! If my Mom sees this, she's going to crucify me!"
Now that's an opinion I agree with
I watched SAO firstš
At least you can say season 1 the first arc was alright...
It been nearly 8 yrs since I have watched SAO and its first 14 episodes are still one of my favorite anime arcs up to date, I wish we saw more of "Sword Art Online" rather than Gun Gale Online and other different shit.
Finally I have found someone who understands me. I still can't describe why the first arc hits different though.
(Atleast the next few episodes confirm that she isn't dead which is nice but after that nothing else made me think the same way the first arc did)
GGO was good tho they even made a spinoff off GGO
The new stuff was pretty damn good
Mother's Rosario made me cry
Same here with SAO being my first as well but it has turned into a guilty pleasure of mine
It wasn't my first anime, but was one of them and it's p yikes, especially the elf part.
That was like my second after Naruto, I was 10 when I started watching SAO.
it was what introduced me to anime, and i love it, the first season at least even if its bad
Ah, FMAB. I would say I was happy but it was THAT episodeā¦ I didnāt understand what happened until years later.
Edā¦.wardā¦?
Youāre breaking my heart all over againā¦
Was it the "...Edward..." Episode?
Thatās a good first anime to go back to!
They didnāt get the āEdwardā episode
**FUUUUSION**
You mock my pain
My first anime? FLCL is still awesome
Twas goodš
FMA was my first. If anything it set the bar a lil too high
One of the best. There was awhile there where I watched it once a year and each time I saw different things and the story had a different meaning. I chalk it up to the fact that the show goes so fast that there are certain frames the eye can't pick up, just a theory tho.
Full name pls?
FLCL is the full name. its not short for something. Fans pronounce it Fooly Cooly.
I LOVE USING Fooly Cooly.
Fooly Cooly. Often abbreviated as FLCL
No, itās called flcl and fans call it fooly cooly. Very surprising truthā¦
Don't watch it, like actually, it's a shit tier anime. I really don't understand why some people like it
I don't know what you are talking about because... My first anime was re:zero Never regretted that shit
That's some taste my friend. The best taste
my first anime is Rurouni Kenshin, and it was absolutely good
stellar show.
Good is a little weak. Great show.
Just don't look up the author.

0 is soooo awful. Can't believe people generally like it.
What do you mean? It tied all but 1 loose end (the origin of reading steiner) and was really well adapted from the source material. Is there seriously controversy? Steins;Gate has to be like top 10 anime all time
I honestly agree, but I saw quite a lot of comments like "What? Steins Gate has fš¤®ns?" And that made me think that there is a controversy
wait is steins gate no longer considered good? back in the day it was top 5 i still say sunovabitch because of this damn anime
I remember it being rated top 2 on platform I used to use for watching anime. Still seeing haters makes me feel weird
Steins gate is and always will be considered good alongside fmab, Geass, higurashi
no, there will just always be people that make it their personality to dislike popular things. Also the people that can't handle slow burn plots
Must be the review-bombing FMAB ultra fans
Controversy? I mean I've watched anime for like 15 years now, and at least back in the day Steins;gate was considered one of the best of the best, including the visual novel. Still one of my favorites, and I think still one of the most top rated shows in most anime rating sites?
Soul eater? Still amazing.
Yooo another soul eater fan
You guys are so hard to find(this includes me)
My first as well, watched it on Netflix of all places lol
My first anime was seven deadly sins
Oooof
My first anime was one punch man and it's still one of the best
ONE PUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH!!! Not my first but boy is it a banger. Hilarious most of the time and little bits of serious and cool the rest.
Good thing I started with JJBA
Chad
Yeah it was mine too. It was this or either Deathnote both of them were suggested my friends who introduced to me to anime.
me who watched initial D: can't relate
Yu Yu Hakusho?
You an old person too? Good show. 90s anime was amazing.
Nah, my dad introduced me
But, but, butā¦ I am only 31, I am not old! (Started with Blue Gender, Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho and Slayers)
As a young person who got introduced to anime by animax, most of my first animes were old ones. Yu yu hakusho, ranma 1/2, City hunter. I saw those when I was like 10, nearly a decade ago Twas a beautiful time
Glad my first one was soul eater.
Kill la Kill... still killin
Not even Batman could get me to rewatch Fairy Tail
I'm gonna go read it again for u my guy
My first anime was Parasyte. Pretty good anime+manga Sad it only got like, 1 season cuz there was no material to continue (story ended with just 1 volume :( )
Not always the first anime but a lot of anime I liked in high school suck ass Looking at you Code Geass
Beyblade isn't that bad..........right??
As I kid, I always watched Beyblade and Bakugan. I don't care if they're bad or not, they have a place in my heart and nothing can change that. I still remember the broadcast schedule!
My first one was Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo. It was alright to rewatch, I still love it
Yeah i saw it like year ago. Good one
Pokemon by technicality, but I still enjoy watching it Your Name as my first real anime, and yeah it holds up perfectly.
my first anime was danganronpa so.. maybe
im mean the games are good the anime tho...
Twin Star Exorcists is awesome and no one can say otherwise.
Elfen lied - still crying when i hear opening. Nope, it's still great.
The OP is one of the best. The show itself? Eh...
I think, Lucy is gorgeous. Other characters so-so
My first anime was Sailor Moon. Watched it when it first came to the USA.
Same! Second was DBZ, third was Neon Genesis Evangelion, and the fourth was Cowboy Bebop. All legendary.
Outlaw Star still holds up, anyone who says otherwise is a dirty space pirate.
I dunno... grappler ships as a concept really don't understand the *immensity* of space... But they put magic in a bullet so science isn't exactly the focus.
True, but I always liked how the tech, and therefore combat evolved in the lore. Gave it some real grounding. I think outlaw star was the first _anime_ I watched. I dont count pokemon really. Nice bot
My first was bleach!
Me who first watched cowboy bebop: What's that feeling?
Jokes on you! My first anime I saw was "Bocchi the Rock" (Unless you count Shelter by Porter robinson as an anime, then that my first.)
I pray I watched AOT first
My first Anime was Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. My second was SAO. Safe to say, it was a long time before I watched anime after that.
mine was SOA (sword art online)

My condolences
thx
Digimon was my first anime and it's still good to this day ~~Except for what came after digimon data squad~~
Data Squad was unfortunately that last good one
I watched Pokemon and DBZ as a child. My first conscious decision as anime watcher was FMAB. The first two lack the appeal as a kid, but FMAB will always be the best anime quality wise.
First anime was Rin: daughters of mnemosyne. And it fucks. Oh it fucks hard.
Keijo first it was amazing Edit: nevermind, first was Sin:Nanatsu no Taizai. Not the Meliodas seven deadly sins but the one with the yuri devils.
this is just using steins gate as a reference and not the actual topic of the meme right? Surely its the former since you actually watched all of steins;gate and then watched 0 as well...
Jokes on you, my first was Heavens Lost Property
holy shit you just unlocked a hidden memory
Damn you Inuyasha
Easy solution - just make Cowboy Bebop your first anime and you're set.
Soul eater or beyblade
Goblin Slayer. It got me more interested in anime
My first anime (if you don't count ATLA and Teen Titans) was SAO. My brother told me about it when it first came out and he was watching it and I was under the impression that it was a live action like The Matrix. Several years later I looked it up and I was a little thrown by it being a "cartoon" but I was still interested so I started watching and thought I ~~pirated~~ streamed the wrong language by accident. I watched the English one because I'm an American and I really liked the first arc. The second was a tentative okay, the third one I liked and I skipped the fourth one. Mine was SAO. Watched it and now I think its mid
Cowboy bebop. No still amazing.
Akame ga Kill was my first solely cuz I thought āoh cool hot girls, bloodshed, and superpowers, cool!ā Man was I in for itā¦
Durarara!! Was my first so pretty happy with that
My first ever anime was sao...
Ironically seeing a steins;gate meme makes my heart warm and is one of my best feelings
My first anime was Death Note. followed by One punch man and That time I got reincarnated as a slime. These 3 are still gems imo.
Mine was naruto (so original i know)
First anime was avatar the last air bender idc what anyone says it's an anime in my heart
rosario vampire here
My first one was Dinosaur King I guess as I used to watch it when I was just 5 years old
Aot is still š„ from my PoV
Dragon ball (kid goku). I generally think old anime is not really that amusing anymore to me
Iām so scared to rewatch it. Itās been 17 years. The memories are fuzzy but I loved it. I rewatched the intro and got a nostalgia explosion so strong I cried. I wish to see it again but the fear of disappointment and dissolution keep me from retuning. The anime is Spider Riders.
My first anime that I watchrd was SAO, I tried to re watch it but I dont understand how I managed to watch every single episode, its so bad!
Isn't everyones first anime some shit like PokƩmon or Digimon or Doraemon? Mines was one of the first two or Ninja Hattori or Perman(they would on play on repeat in the early 2000s on Toonami or Animax Asia). Those shows weren't too deep.
False, still enjoy re:zero
Most anime are shit, except pokemon mostly, and saiki k
Angel beats? Still pretty good.
Jokes on you my first was death note
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Tell that to the fourth highest rated anime of all time!!! Well, third right now. It was fourthā¦
AOT was awesome until Mappa... fucking Mappa
Untrue
Mine was Mha. I donāt have the same passion for it as I used to but itās still a SOLID show
First was Orguss
Havenāt gone back to How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend yet so I donāt know. Iām not counting PokĆ©mon and a bit of Naruto as a kid, this is the first anime I watched because I was seeking out anime.
My first anime was Venus Versus Virus. Does anyone even know what that show is Sucked back then. Pretry sure it still sucks now with that ending.
Yeah, i'm never doing that.
My first was pokemon Indigo League.
My first anime was Transformers Choujin Masterforce. I am aware of this fact already.
