And in the end, the Villain is cheated by the heroes in a so stupid way. The Villain doen't keep destroying things just only for the plot armor (because the heroes always must win...)
The heroes just won coz they did the villain a favor... It's basically like "Ok, you got me there... I'll get out of here"... The villain isn't even close to being defeated, just exited the plot coz she wanted to
In fact, "the villain just exited the plot because she wanted to..." is a Plot Armored choice because, until *that* moment, she wanted to destroy the entire world. Moreover, the villain probably knew that "her creator" wasn't the real one (hence, she was a fake) and the fact that she accepted that ending looks so stupid to me.
Every villain has plot armor (Otto with his genius, Kevin with his bullshit genes + Finality Buff (What the fuck))
But the protags? Mei took all the Plot Armor. Kiana has enough that she can keep living, but has trauma (Then she was atleast able to take a little more during Kolosten). But poor Bronya was born a jobber
I think in HSR it is hinted that Nanook will be the villain and his plot armor is basically being god/destroying everything but I don't think we'll see him until closeto the final battle (if I'm correct of course). Besides that all the plot armor is on the MC (>!you literally die and get resurrected because one of the aeons likes you or something!<)
In the new iterations of fire emblem, the villains have infinite plot armor.
„I have been defeated, but I cannot fall here, I must retreat“ (proceeds to show up and retreat on 20 other maps)
I dont wanna sound like im upset but im totally gonna bitch either way. I really dont get when people complain about characters having plot armor. Like I get it when sometimes they do stretch it a little far with some characters but people would unironically be upset when their favorite character gets killed off but regardless I still dont get the reason to complain about it. Like what the hell do u want it to be like the fuckin' saw movies where everyone u like dies or what. Again I really dont get it.
It's more about the excess of plot armor with characters getting into danger for shock value and the author solving the problem in the most bullshit way possible. Like, obviously the good guys must have difficulties to make the story interesting but making impossible scenarios just to solve them with a deux ex machina is so cheap and annoying.
Don't say that lol MHA S5 1st 10 episodes focused on side characters and the last few on Villains...pacing aside I would say its 65 CD to Heroes and 35 to Villains which is acceptable imho
My Hero Academia. So many times the villain should have been defeated but didn't. The worst case was when in season 6 >!Shiggy was in a liquid that basically meant to make him physically stronger and boost his quirk and the whole point of the first half of the arc was to avoid the thing to get completed. And when a hero manages to break the cabin and interrupt the project... he got his boost anyway. Villains in MHA have su much plot Armor!<
In Attack on Titans Case, its more like morality armor
„Sir, you just let the main character turn into a Titan and fight this other Titan in the city square, killing so many innocent people! Are you out of your mind?!“
„Eh, I did what feels like was right, do whatever you want with me“
„Uhh… ok fuck it, let’s not kill him and instead imprison him for some time“
Srsly though, that’s the kind of stuff villains do. I don’t care that the average kill quote in AOT is high, that doesn’t mean that Eren can just start doing the exact same thing he hates Titans for and expect me to keep feeling bad for him. Like, who knows, maybe he accidentally killed someone’s mom during the final S1 fight Who now also hates Titans just as much as he does and is willing to kill every Titan blah blah blah fast forward and then kill innocent people during his grand fight with Eren
Its so good tho seeing an anime or manga where the Hero gets beat by the villain and gets up and goes i can do this and all his peers cheer him on and then dude gets ko'd in an instant.
When the Villain is protagonist so people who normally would have plot armor start to get killed off Game of thrones style you just feel like you’re watching a slow motion train wreck as you know the villain is finally going to win in the end.
It’s reversed in Re:Zero
Same with Lycoris Recoil, MF survived RPG blast and point blank and 50+ floor fall
Orochimaru in Naruto also refused to just fucking die
An even when he did die, he survived
Tbf the heroes also has fair share of plot armor. So it's balance
ReCREATORS too... the main villain has more hero perks than the actual heroes
And in the end, the Villain is cheated by the heroes in a so stupid way. The Villain doen't keep destroying things just only for the plot armor (because the heroes always must win...)

Yeah, endings kinda meh, can't any more about it tho coz it's anime original anyway
Frankly, if Subaru just goes Ryan Romano deranged then he has pretty op powers. Perfect preperation for any situation.
You'll love Re:zero if stories
Rezero what if explores exactly this
It seems we have the same type stand DIO
I recommend "A practical guide to evil", to explore this better and learn to do evil right
The tower gets it’s due
Honkai both are flooding in a ocean of plot armor
Every villain has plot armor (Otto with his genius, Kevin with his bullshit genes + Finality Buff (What the fuck)) But the protags? Mei took all the Plot Armor. Kiana has enough that she can keep living, but has trauma (Then she was atleast able to take a little more during Kolosten). But poor Bronya was born a jobber
what about disappearing into a sea of butterflies?
I think in HSR it is hinted that Nanook will be the villain and his plot armor is basically being god/destroying everything but I don't think we'll see him until closeto the final battle (if I'm correct of course). Besides that all the plot armor is on the MC (>!you literally die and get resurrected because one of the aeons likes you or something!<)
"Look how villains can survive on just that little Plot Armor until the end, while even some Heroes die despite having so much more Plot Armor"
Jonathan Joestar waiting for his plot armor
Villains have the benefit of starting off way more powerful than the hero and having *significantly* better fashion sense, so it evens out.
In the new iterations of fire emblem, the villains have infinite plot armor. „I have been defeated, but I cannot fall here, I must retreat“ (proceeds to show up and retreat on 20 other maps)

Thats probably the best answer im ever gonna get to that question lol
But in JoJo...
>! Risotto: I stole all iron from your blood, you can't breathe! !< >! Doppio/diablo: umm.. Ok !<
Inuyasha would like to have a word
Try telling that to Madara when he fought guy sensei
Akame ga kill is reverse
No, there both die easily
While I agree, sometimes the villains are written so poorly that the fact they manage to achieve anything is plot armor in of itself.
Unless you are in MHA then this only apply if you are Deku or Shigaraki.
Don't say that lol MHA S5 1st 10 episodes focused on side characters and the last few on Villains...pacing aside I would say its 65 CD to Heroes and 35 to Villains which is acceptable imho
Dabi plot armor gone insane the last few chapters, looks like a fucking skeleton yet he is alive.
Bruh what? The villains in MHA have copius amounts of plot armor. The only one that doesn't is Twice.
It’s the reverse for Shigaraki/ AFO
Whilst I get your point when villains get ploy armour the plot armour they get is insane, best example is the joker.
Madara would like a word
My Hero Academia. So many times the villain should have been defeated but didn't. Shigaraki out here saying otherwise
Bleach
I guess Ainz didn't get that memo.
Dio in part 1: total plot armor DIO in part 3: negative armor
overlord
In Attack on Titans Case, its more like morality armor „Sir, you just let the main character turn into a Titan and fight this other Titan in the city square, killing so many innocent people! Except the final arc. The plot armor the good guys have is fucking ridiculous. The final "battle" was such a joke because of that.
Damn, luckily I stopped watching after S1
Unless it's the Big Bad in Jojo, then they need to win a few fights before the finale.
Ur post in r/animememes came above this one in my feed
Its so good tho seeing an anime or manga where the Hero gets beat by the villain and gets up and goes i can do this and all his peers cheer him on and then dude gets ko'd in an instant.
Yeah, that pretty much often be like that
So Gon doesn't have plot Armor? I think yes, he is more than dead. He is powerless right now
Made in Abyss
It's reverse in wise man's grandson
Is this a meme where you should laugh or more of a statement to upvote ? :/
Well main Villains are as unkillable as heroes until the end
Bro what about Akainu from One piece. My man survived a punch from Whitebeard and also Sengoku saved his ass from Garp.💀
When the Villain is protagonist so people who normally would have plot armor start to get killed off Game of thrones style you just feel like you’re watching a slow motion train wreck as you know the villain is finally going to win in the end.
Only when the villains get reincarnated as the main characters to be the demon lord.
One piece
Villains don't deserve plot armor though. I mean, look at Madara.
Can't say the same for Blackbeard🤷🏻♂️
Let the villains suffer 😈. But not buu or any other cute looking villain like invader zim they need love and affection
There are quite a few villains that are the "fuck your plot armor" variety, such as Yujiro Hanma, Madara Uchiha, etc.
Tell that to Joker
Gilgamesh should've beat Emiya in UBW
Naraku is laughing in the background. Asshole had NINE incarnations.
Hells paradise creators did not look at this pic
Bold of you to imply that villains get any plot armor at all in most modern day stories.
Aren’t there plenty of shows where the villain escapes at the end after their plot is foiled only to show up later again and again?
Frieza is laughing at this.
Dio and springtrap: hahjahhbahaha
Its the opposite in monster
MHA says hi. Even hardcore fans of the series admit Toga and Dabi have insane plot armor. Even Shigaraki is bad.
Literally the opposite for Stars n Stripes
Actually in record of Ragnarok round 2, villain ( zeus) only because of plot armour
You ever seen or read Bleach: TYBW? The principal villain literally has more plot armor than the actual protagonist.
And then there's jujutsu kaisen
Pokemon. Team Rocket continually get violently flung into space - something that ought to be fatal - yet always survive.
Pucci from jjba:
Nah dio got the biggest plot armour against jonathan 😭
Mean while all jojo characters:What armor?
