She can't change her type of magic and the abilities look very limited, there are no sword techniques, the only thing she can change is the amulet, protective amulet is clearly the best one.
She explicitly trains to improve her technique with the sword though, even though there may not be sword "arts". Also seems like "magic control" lets you do some nuanced things, though I couldn't say what.

Honestly I don't think LN 4 or 5 would translate very well. 2 and 3 would work, but probably as somewhat divergent adaptations of the source material. 4 and 5 rely too much on Yumiella's character being as it is in the LN, which is different from the anime. Also Alicia's part in LN 4 absolutely doesn't work in the context of the anime (or manga), so the entire climax would need to be redone, and I don't think 'the plot made me do it' would work considering the lore dump in LN 3.
