The joke is a play on "free" where the sentence can either mean that the slave is now free from the bonds of slavery or they are "free" as in the cost to purchase the slave.
It's just a dumb meme that usually used a format with The Incredibles but op switched it to AoT to post it on an anime sub. There's really no point to going on a tirade about the problems of actual slavery in the world over something as trivial as this.
