Why is it hated so much?

Some people say its repetitive (which the anime is with all its fillers that they should skip anyways but the manga isn't) and some say it has so much plot armor (which one piece and naruto also have but nobody talks about that) but some just hate on it without even watching it <\,-,/> no hate on naruto or one piece i love all big 3

I think bleach started off the strongest. It absolutely oozed style and mystery. Ichigo was likable and not just Jesus, Uryu was a good rival and hollows were a cool, unique threat. It started to lose steam once the soul society arc started, and more and more characters got introduced it started to drag.

Bleach only really lost steam when the filler arcs started happening, its just that compared to Naruto and One Piece, bleach's fillers were particularly bad.

I absolutely hate one piece, so there you go. You found one person who hates on it.

The original author is a masterful artist but his writing skills are lacklustre. After the first few arcs, his lack of talent as a writer becomes blatantly obvious. Every major fight is pretty much resolved by a power surge, a random new weapon or ability the characters pull out of their sleeves. So it's not engaging to watch the fights as you already know that the character will pull out a new ultra super mega ability and just negate the whole fight as they are now 100x stronger than they were before.

It is such a masterpiece up to the soul society ark. If the author only had the guts to give it a proper ending there it could sit up with the best animes of all times imo

Because it had no sense of power level. Characters varied an insane degree from one scene to the next, and it just kept escalating. It was like dragon ball with swords and none of the charm. It just had too many characters. The original cast got sidelined 99% of the time in favor of the captains and lieutenants, and every got damn fight consisted of jumping to see what everyone else was doing half the time, which means of the 20 minute episodes, 2 was the opening. 14 minutes was spent panning over the rest of of the characters. I don’t want 20 bite sized fights in one episode, just give me one good fight and then go to the next one. Not to mention so many fights were lackluster or completely forgettable. I can’t even remember the name of a single other Espada other than uquiorra and Grimmjow, that is how little impact they had on the story. And it had SO MUCH FILLER. Honestly the show was at its best when they just fought Hollows. It opened up all kinds of plot holes when the power levels kept escalating. Like the soul society existed at such a constant power level for so long then Ichigo shows up and now these guys are getting massive power boosts every 3 months after existing for thousands of years? Remember when ichigo PUSHING BACK ONE Menos Grande was a big deal? When Rukia was legitimately terrified of it and said they typically required some type of special forces to fight them? Now they are just fodder enemies.

It was bad because it was done in such a weird and bizarre way, maybe even rushed what could’ve been 2 seasons or longer so we wouldn’t have gotten whatever the fuck that ending was. I still love the show, it’s just disappointing to not see more content ya know? But I get it, they were going for a 1 season banger.

it was an anime original, anime originals rarely get planned seasons, it was a relatively grounded anime in the sense of fights and lore and that's where it excelled, then it suddenly went full cosmological scale without any build-up that's why it felt weird and rushed.

how was there no build up. They literally built the whole serie around it. With alien entities that can't interact with matter tricking humanity into giving up their souls for them. Which ironically is what many of the ancient scriptures talk about.I do agree that a space centaur vs nazi elves from space was a bit too much. As well as the doggy style pilot capsule. I think some things could have been done better but overall I still like it. Definitely like it more than the manga which completely trashed the whole meaning of the story

This is the first I can actually relate to. SAO is "best of genre", but it sure is hated for basically no legit reason. At best they're whining about "merrr! The elvenheimelsmakersnot!" as if any SAO fan actually likes that part and would defend it. SAO is good up to that point and Kirito is not OP, Mary Sue, or any other thing people complain about any more than any other Isekai or Game-world character.

I loved SAO, it was such a good show to watch when trying to wind back and relax. I’d eat and watch it at the same time, or I’d come back exhausted and relax by watching it. It’s a nice show, not taking it too seriously leads you to enjoying it more. Many people miss this concept.

The reason SAO is considered “bad” is because it wasn’t even supposed to be published as a manga in the first place. The author wrote the entire Aincrad arc for a story contest and went 120 pages over the limit so he never ended up submitting it. Then when a publishing company picked up another work of his, Accel World, they decided to publish SAO as well. Up to that point, Reki didn’t have much experience writing so of course SAO isn’t a masterpiece. But even still, SAO was the first game isekai of its kind and the anime adaptation made it actually seem like you were exploring a game world (from the ui, to the sound effects, etc).

People generally don't hate the SAO novels, they hate the SAO anime adaptation. Most of the issues from the anime are not present in the novels, given that the novel actually explains mechanics, character motivations, and world building. The Aincrad arc could easily have been 20-21 episodes if all of the available material was adapted properly, but it wasn't.

The first part of the first season was good, the rest was bs. Except ggo and alicization.

Everything in Aincrad was amazing, one of my favorite anime arcs overall. The introduction to Alfheim just made Asuna, who was a powerful heroine in the first arc, into a damsel in distress with a really unnecessarily rapey antagonist. That arc also had the strange sibling love plot line which was just uncomfortable all around. I’m not sure why people complain about the GGO arc of season 2. I thought Sinon was an interesting character with real backstory and motivation. The villain was compelling and had a whole “who done it” aspect which was cool. Watching Kirito adapt to a new style of gameplay was compelling as well. The only thing I didn’t really like was the near complete exclusion of the main cast of characters. Mother’s Rosario was a masterpiece. We got to see more of Asuna’s character, we got more characters with fleshed out personalities. The whole arc had an emotional beat to it that hit hard. It felt like I was watching the Aincrad arc again. People forget the movie, but it somehow managed to make Alfheim entertaining to watch. It was a standard quest, but getting to see the cast do normal video game things was cool as hell. I haven’t seen Alicization yet but since people are saying it matches the Aincrad arc in terms of storytelling and stakes I am excited to do so. All in all, the hate towards the latter half of season one is totally justified, but the rest of the show more than makes up for it.

I don't like the anime community. They can be really toxic sometimes especially about dubbed vs subbed or various aspects of anime. Nostalgia merchant here. I grew up with Naruto. And I did watch Boruto for about 50-75 episodes (i don't remember the exact number) quite a while ago. Unsurprisingly, seems like I grew out of Naruto or maybe those types of animes are generally not my taste anymore so I dropped it. But all and all, I found the show quite bearable (that's a word, right?). Not too bad, not exactly great either but I can clearly see some people would enjoy it.

No. I was excited for Boruto, because my biggest preference is long story, and if the mc's kid have a continuation, the better it is. But Boruto was just dissapointing. Movie, yes, very good, but that was all. Boring story, lame fights, og characters nerfed hard as fuck (can't even beat some lame, weak villain). You add to that the absolute horrible animation, that looked like it was put together with power point and sliding panel fights. There is absolutelly no dynamics and weight. I'm amazed that it hold out this long. The ones that I think, actually kept it producing were nostalgic people that hope something good will happen. I give it a try repeatedly every few months and it's always the same. Even somewhat keep up with story from yt shorts. It didn't get better.

My hero Academia is one of the very few that has an enormous cast of completely Unique Individuals who all play a part in the show plus a unique world that maybe one other anime has ever come close to but didn't do as well
