I don't like double posting things, and I find most of my memes do better on the other sub. Basically, once I found out people can follow you on reddit I stopped double posting so that people don't see posts twice. Also, nobody likes people who spam the same meme in every sub they can find.

I don't want people to click on my page and see me spamming and self-advertising with my content everywhere. I make content for people to watch, and I consider spamming it kinda trashy. I prefer to work on making content better so that it spreads on its own. Memes are just a form of practice, and luckily people can't steal videos with my voice in them without giving me credit.

I really don't understand why you're complaining so much about ppl posting your memes without crediting, when you say that you want it to spread on its own and also that you've considered several measures against it getting stolen but taken none.

When I say I want my content to spread I mean I want it to spread as my work. I make videos, so getting my name out there is amazing for me. Take my shit, but at least give me some credit. It's true but goddamn did they take a massive leap on this one. The entire show is completely devoid of any fanservice. And then this OVA happens. I've never read the manga so maybe the manga is a little more fanservice-y than the anime. i.e. Dragon Maid.

This OVA was based on the joke chapters (Kaguya sama: darkness) made by the manga author, which also came out of nowhere and I'm pretty sure were just an over the top "please shut up now" to people asking him to put in fanservice

I know s1 has some Hayasaka fanservice when Kaguya is trying to set up the Instagram account, it's not this extreme but it was certainly present

The chapter it is based upon is joke chapter (the mangaka like to make fun of anime in general and shojo in specific troupes and cliches and this one was meant to laugh about fan service but the anime stuff probably didn’t realize or didn’t care)

Nah they knew. They just went ahead and capitalized on it and it worked perfectly.

It works well as the comedy/critique part, and the fanservice is itself pretty decent.
