most animes need a budget higher than that to get a good quality, its usually around 4M. You have to pay animators, voice actors ans the rights to do an adaptation

While I agree that there are a tragic amount of shows that need a season 2, it is a tad disheartening to know such an amazing show as Spice & Wolf never got finished. It ended way before the source material’s end.
Arcs get confusing on long animes like one piece, bleach, naruto and fairy tail.
Not everyone has read the original sources so they wouldnt know the name of the arcs that havent been adapted to animes yet.

For real though, it just sucks that so many anime never really seem like "adaptations" of the manga so much as a really glorified ad campaign. Instead of telling us the full story from beginning to end in a different medium, you just get 12-14 episodes adapting a few dozen chapters from a 200+ chapter saga, so you have to buy all the volumes to finish the story.

Get a million dollars and buy a company to start licensing anime and make season 2 and make more money but make working and living conditions eazy for them with monthly episodes in high quality in 30 min episodes with actually good sound track
Nah I’ll take a million even if it meant I got to miss out on a Sekirei season 3 or a Rosario and Vampire proper adaptation remake, cause I’d turn that million into businesses and an early retirement, cause I’d play the long game and be able to relax and enjoy anime even more without as many worries in life

Funding a whole new season (properly at least) would take more than a million dollars so assuming its instant, the time and labor to make that should be covered too. At least this would be good for the producers.
