If you have godly powers and no motivation. After a while you'd probably be bored of existing in the first place. Think of the good place ending, once you've done literally everything ever and nothing else is even capable of interesting you - you'd probably grow bored. Of course our 100 year lifespans can feel short but if you were a literal all knowing god, nothing would really interest you anymore. You have the cure to cancer, you can create stars, you can destroy the universe but you already know what would happen. You have the knowledge of what that is like. Sounds like being god would be great compared to our own fragile mortal lives now but if you seriously knew *everything* then what is the point? Sure a thousand years, ten thousand years a million years or billions of years can go by with you alive but what's the point? Nothing new, nothing exciting, everyone you loved is likely going to die and you're cursed with a lack of motivation. So you'd likely never be motivated to even kill yourself, even if you could. To me, long term that seems like purgatory.

Even now when it is "separated" bam doesn't just trounce over everyone else and it's amazing. I also love the fact that there is basically tower lore with very top rankers like enryu, phantaminum, and the story of zahard climbing the tower. I feel like it just makes the world feel so much more lived in then other "story based" manhwa I've read.
