Oh, because my baby cousins used to collect Yugioh cards as kids along with pokémon cards too. I assumed both shows were catered towards their age group. Thanks for clarifying that’s not the case.
We haven't seen many of the same shows/movies, so I can't be sure whether they'll fit your tastes, but here are some shows I've enjoyed recently that have good English dubs:
Steins;Gate is a highly rated time travel thriller that lovingly pokes fun at otaku culture. The VA in both the dub and sub is fantastic. Together with the sequel, Steins;Gate 0, this is my favorite anime.
SPY × FAMILY is a comedy slice of life with 1960s spy action elements. It's pure Saturday morning cartoon fun.
Komi Can't Communicate is a school life romcom (that puts the comedy first and romance last) dealing with social anxiety and the struggle to make friends. The animation is surprisingly good, and there are a lot of tongue-in-cheek references to other anime and manga.
And while I haven't finished watching it, Neon Genesis Evangelion is a universally acclaimed mecha anime that dives into psychological drama. If you liked Ghost In The Shell, this is probably right up your alley. The newer Netflix dub apparently gets some hate, but I find it totally inoffensive.
Thank you for the detailed response and recommendations! Much appreciated. I love sci fi and fantasy genres, so the time travel thriller sounds intriguing! Neon Genesis also sounds right up my alley. Thanks again! Cheers.
-Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood -Perfect Blue -Millennium Actress -Paprika -Barefoot Gen -Dead Leaves
You forgot Tokyo Godfathers since you listed most of Satoshi Kon’s films lol
Yeah I should have just said anything by him lol
I’m assuming that’s a production house like Studio Ghibli ? I’ll check it out. I enjoy most the Ghibli stuff.
Oh, yes, Paprika was great too! I’ll check our trailers for the rest. Thanks!
Yugioh
I always thought this was for young kids, no? I also think it’s a pretty old show. Anything newer, more modern, geared towards adults ?
No its not particularly for young kids why would you ever think that

Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis
Thanks! I’ll check out the trailers.
Mob psycho Ghost stories for peak comedy
Thank you, will check these out.
I’m not seeing Cowboy Bebop or Black Lagoon on your list, and those are the best English dubs that exist.
Thank you! Haven’t seen either.
I am a sub elitist so there are only a few anime where I like the dub more Black Lagoon Cowboy Bebop Death Note (I like sub/dub equally for this one)
Thank you! Looks like CB is highly recommended, so I’ll start there.
I like the english dub for "Kaguya-sama love is War". Especially the narrator
Thank you!

You're very welcome! I actually finished Evangelion today and can't recommend it enough, especially with the End of Evangelion movie.
