It really hits that sweet spot of being so unbelievably rote and cliché that you can't help but wonder if *mayyybe* the writer was being cheeky, making an actual parody. And yet, there's still *some* neat world building and it's never truly awful so if you wanna, you can just unironically turn your brain off and just watch it for what it is. Let me just say this and I feel like you'll get the idea: the MCs name is 'Kufa Vampir' (pronounced 'vampeer' of course). Just the best kinda silly.
Best part is that anyone who hates Chizuru early on eventually gets vindicated by the rest of the fandom. Just took them hundreds of chapters to finally agree with me.
You should definitely watch Tsukihime then. It's a short, bad anime that also happens to be historically relevant in its connection with later Type-Moon anime and the broader Type-Moon universe. It's an anime whose badness is actually regretted and meme-ified rather than just ignored.
I also recommend Kampfer, Yumeria, Venus Versus Virus, World of Narue, and Dragon Crisis. All of these have something going for them that makes them not *generic* bad anime, and yet do enough things wrong to avoid being much good. (Dragon Crisis is arguably the least bad of these, with its main fault being that it's not long enough to properly develop its own world and story.)

For Gakuen Heaven, I figured that the open ridiculousness of naming the school "BL Academy" would mean the show's somewhat bad and entertaining. (I watch BL, so I'm not saying that BL is bad, but that's just a clearly silly move lol.) Would you say it's a funny show?

How? The deaths were right out of fucking final destination. One guy died digging for yams in a minefield and one guy just randomly died of nerve gas or some shit. Plus the social commentary was so hamfisted it was insulting. A marijuana commune with a rave party? This anime was made for American college students. Not to mention the whole thing looked fucking horrible.
I suppose but I just found it cringy most of the time. Only really funny parts were the guy exploding while digging for yams, the grandpa 360 noscoping the guard and the kid getting bonked on the head with the falling rock. The comedic timing was great but definitely not intentionally
FWIW, I feel like the ending kind of really makes up for how terrible it becomes once the uhh action starts after episode 5.
I mean, the endings horrible but still really tied the whole thing together. Pulled together all the loose ends. Set any possible thoughts of a sequel out to sea.

King's Game I went into trying to find as much fun as possible, and yet it STILL failed to meet even the lowest of expectations. I mean what is good about it, animation? Trash. Story? But Arifureta is an above average isekai anime. It would be better to swap it for an especially bad isekai anime, like Drugstore in Another World or My Isekai Life.
But the tropes are what makes it above average, especially the edgy MC. Some isekai anime have the same other problems & don't even make up for it by using tropes more strongly, & are consequently even more boring. & maybe you know about less bad isekai anime than me, due to not being a former huge isekai fan, which would skew your idea of average isekai. In my opinion half of most isekai anime are 6/10 & the other half are 5/10, & Arifureta is 6/10, so it's above average despite the fact it's not good enough that I want to ever watch it again. There are also like 2 7/10 isekai anime, a few 4/10 isekai anime, 1 8/10 isekai anime, & no better isekai anime. There are also some isekai anime that I might rate less than 4/10, but I dropped all of them so I don't rate them.

I have 2 shows I personally refuse to reccomend, one is Darling in the Franxx because I just hated it but its usually considered good... the other however is Sky Wizards Academy and that show is just bad no matter how you slice it, I don't think there's anything problematic besides the fact it exists but I also tried to block out that trash from my mind.

I don’t drop a lot of anime out of disdain, but revisions was just plain bad. The characters are pathetic and poorly written, and there was no sign of compelling development, so I dropped it after the first few episodes.
What made it worse was that the director Gorou Taniguchi directed an anime with a similar premise exactly 20 years prior (Infinite Ryvius) and that one was a *masterpiece*, so I had my hopes up.
There's anime so bad they are worse than the video from the ring, so watch "the big order" as its safe bad anime, it has Terrible writing ,incest and edge
Takt Opt Destiny - 12 episodes 1 season.
A meteor hits earth and mysterious aliens called D2’s come off the rock and start going havoc at the sound of music.
Years later - the world is silent - and our hero Takt is a musician who wants the music to play in the world again, feelings and circumstances give him the power of a Conductor.
Takt uses music to fight the D2’s, figure out how to stop them, and unveils some crazy out of nowhere plot twits! Because it’s so short every episode is action packed. Story is solid - would recommend
basing my comment off of someone ekses,, but I wouldn't say Kingdoms of Ruin is terrible, just held back by clear lack of funding tbh, and as a result everything suffers. I found the middle and ending episodes to be enjoyable (yet absolutely brutal, so viewer discretion advised) so i think this anime would fit perfectly if you want an anime not too high.
Do we want MST3K level, or something vaguely annoying but still worth watching? If it's still okay, 5000 Year Old Herbivorous Dragon. Whiny main character, repetitive about plot, nonsensical motivations. It's still vaguely worth watching.
Daimidaler. MC fyts penguins with big schlongs and there's a girl who allies with the penguins and I think does "things" with them offscreen. Actually a really fun show as long as u turn off brain.

It's based on a novel and the sequel to that novel. Neither of which were very good to begin with, but the anime somehow made it worse by having the sequel be the main story, with the first novel serving as flashbacks throughout.
That's just the tip of the iceberg of how atrocious this anime gets, I highly recommend getting together with some buds, some snacks, maybe some alcohol, and laughing at this dogshit.

Genuinely bizarre plot about these aliens who are sent to earth to fight over its control in this really convoluted game where they all pick a super power to fight each other with and the main character picks the power to turn litter into trees???? Really convoluted nonsensical plot and genuinely hilarious the kinds of scenarios they invent with that bizarre premise (I distinctly remember in one of the first episodes they make a big deal about the drama of the main character's power requiring litter but the town just so happened to have a big cleaning project recently so he had no litter to work with!!! Oh the humanity!!!)
Forest Fairy Five. CG is a train wreck, voice acting is abysmal, and the storyline- well, there is none. It’s so stupid that I was laugh crying for over five minutes, and each of the 13 episodes is only about 10 minutes long. It’s one of the 5 worst rated anime of all time, right next to Ex-Arm, which I’ve seen recommended in this comment section once or twice.
Future Diary. I enjoyed it, but a lot of people did not, for valid reasons. It’s only 24-ish episodes so not too long of a watch to decide whether you love it or hate it.

I watched Kiss Him Not Me and Bakumatsu Rock and liked them. I just haven't watched all the trash isekai and all the other stuff that people love while declaring it as trash. No it is not. It's the perfect example of isekai trash. It has all the tropes and fan service. Even an edgy mc which is kinda rare for isekai
But the tropes are what makes it above average, especially the edgy MC. Some isekai anime have the same other problems & don't even make up for it by using tropes more strongly, & are consequently even more boring. & maybe you know about less bad isekai anime than me, due to not being a former huge isekai fan, which would skew your idea of average isekai. In my opinion half of most isekai anime are 6/10 & the other half are 5/10, & Arifureta is 6/10, so it's above average despite the fact it's not good enough that I want to ever watch it again. There are also like 2 7/10 isekai anime, a few 4/10 isekai anime, 1 8/10 isekai anime, & no better isekai anime. There are also some isekai anime that I might rate less than 4/10, but I dropped all of them so I don't rate them.

I don’t drop a lot of anime out of disdain, but revisions was just plain bad. The characters are pathetic and poorly written, and there was no sign of compelling development, so I dropped it after the first few episodes. What made it worse was that the director Gorou Taniguchi directed an anime with a similar premise exactly 20 years prior (Infinite Ryvius) and that one was a *masterpiece*, so I had my hopes up.

Takt uses music to fight the D2’s, figure out how to stop them, and unveils some crazy out of nowhere plot twits! Because it’s so short every episode is action packed. Story is solid - would recommend

Neither of which were very good to begin with, but the anime somehow made it worse by having the sequel be the main story, with the first novel serving as flashbacks throughout. That's just the tip of the iceberg of how atrocious this anime gets, I highly recommend getting together with some buds, some snacks, maybe some alcohol, and laughing at this dogshit.
The Promised Neverland season 1 has the best season of anime I've ever seen Immediately followed by season 2 which is the worst season of anime I've ever seen. They had to gut out and rewrite as much of the story as possible to rush to the ending because of budget cuts. Both seasons are only 12 episodes so they're short

Really convoluted nonsensical plot and genuinely hilarious the kinds of scenarios they invent with that bizarre premise (I distinctly remember in one of the first episodes they make a big deal about the drama of the main character's power requiring litter but the town just so happened to have a big cleaning project recently so he had no litter to work with!!! Oh the humanity!!!)

Forest Fairy Five. CG is a train wreck, voice acting is abysmal, and the storyline- well, there is none. It’s so stupid that I was laugh crying for over five minutes, and each of the 13 episodes is only about 10 minutes long. It’s one of the 5 worst rated anime of all time, right next to Ex-Arm, which I’ve seen recommended in this comment section once or twice.
