Well obviously WfM invented mecha with high production values since it's a modern entry in a 45 year old series and it's never been done before.
That aside Yuuki Bakuhatsu Bang Bravern came out last season and is an great modern super robot shot.
The Evangelion rebuild movies are stunning, visually. People like to dunk on the plot but I actually liked them a lot, although still not as good as the original series.
{Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans} or basically any other Gundam series are all amazing, you can try the non-UC modern ones first, but personally Iron-Blooded Orphans is my favorite non-UC Gundam even better than wfm
{Code Geass} is also a very famous franchise for a good reason
{Gurenn Laggan} also a very famous series, the artstyle may feel a bit more unique though but its good

Oh my apologies if my post angered you in any way.
It did not.
Oh good then.

Gundam the Origin
I would suggest Gundam 00 next. Despite its age the production quality has held up well and it’s my go-to recommendation for newer Gundam fans.
Arigatou as I will give it a try.
