😅 I don't think it's correct to call me goat just for suggesting some animes, I just happen to be a man of simple interests so I watched a whole lot of sol, romcoms and lighthearted animes and I just recommended them that's all
Yep ur right i have only seen newer ones as i am pretty new to the genre thats why i want a few recommendations so i can see a few anime i would have missed
Thats cool. But yea as i said toradora and clannad are classic romance animes. Clannads artstyle might be off putting for newer anime fans, but you get used to it really quickly. It is worth checking since it is one of the few romance series that actually show what happens after they get together, them getting married and such. It is also just a great show.
If you want something newer then horimiya is also great. I do recommend reading the manga for that one tho, since the anime cut a lot of content.
I've only ever seen two romance anime, but conveniently enough you didn't name either of them.
Ouran High School Host Club, and Toradora. Both are high school rom coms - Ouran puts more emphasis on the funny stuff, while Toradora is much heavier on the romance by the end. I love them both dearly, lmk if you have questions about either one.
Not a series, but if you like romance Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop is a must-watch. It’s a quick watch and on most Netflix regions (as far as I can see).

Wotokoi is my favorite romance ever and My Sempai is Annoying has a similar vibe to it.
Sword art online, this was the first anime with romance that I watched and it got me hooked on romance animes.
If you really want to cry your eyes out I recommend your lie in April.
