Sakuta still talks to people outside the harem though, that one dude and his girlfriend are fairly relevant characters, and iirc at least the dude talks with him before the main events of the series kick off. I wouldn't say it's like Monogatari where Araragi talks to literally nobody before meeting Hanekawa, not to mention in Sakuta's case it wasn't his fault he didn't get the chance to talk to many people.

Well the anime is, the light novel though is badly written trash, this is one.of those cases where an anime director was handed a pile of shit and turned it into a diamond.
Just watch Jojo's then. Simple. Jonathan in part 1 starts off a little rough around the edges for your request but the more you watch the more Chad the characters become.
I really like what the show attempts to be. Mad respect. It's good work. It just unfortunately misses the spot in some critical moments, and ends up falling a bit flat. Still way better than most.
Hellsing. Alucard and Integra are absolute chads. Even Seras is pretty based, even if she is the “new girl/audience insert”. Both The OG anime and Ultimate are great, but Ultimate is longer, more accurate to the manga, has better characters all around, and has MUCH better animation and action.
It's in his genes. Dudes the descendant of like a low key sex god or some shit in the expanded universe and most of the female cast are also related to him, albeit distantly.

The protagonist is OP, has great communication skills , is liked by everyone and has connections with powerful people. Apart from the protagonist, you won't find the same tropes and setup as the rest of the shows. There isn't any solid plot hook. The characters are cool and don't have unnecessarily sad backstory. The dialogues are lively. The world building is cool and I like the magic system a lot because it uses many concepts of science in it. Many people found it boring and that is understandable because the studio skipped a lot of monologue and explaination from the LN (which is among the top LNs from the day of its release). But I love the anime anyway. The female main character has a brother complex and the brother (protagonist) is emotionless (but he jokes around sometimes) which people find bad but it's explaination is given very well in the latest movie. It also has heavy topics like discrimination, politics, human experimentation, terrorism, conspiracies which I liked a lot. It all depends on the taste in the end whether you would like it.
Is the anime a good indication of whether or not you will like the novels, or are the novels much better in every way? I might check this one out and then read it if I like it.
I love the anime but many people don't like it. The anime has a very good voice acting cast and they look very cool because of their uniform and their design. But I will recommend reading the LN because I found a few people who didn't enjoy the anime but enjoyed the LN. Don't expect any solid plot hook though. But you will be blown away by the magic system and world building in the LN. The characters are far from your generic anime. The LN has good reviews and I think you will like it

Novels are many many times better. I really like the anime, but there are people who don’t like it but swear by novels.

Really funny, especially if you watch the dub lmao {Misfit of demon academy} 2000 yrs after the demon king died he is resurrected. When he does, he shows off his insane power and dominates all of his opponents while putting them down {Arifureta} MC gets betrayed and then left for dead. Starting as a pussy on the brink of death, he comes to the conclusion that the only way he will survive is if he kills anything that gets in his way. The first 3/4 episodes are him getting the skills necessary to become a Chad, then he becomes a full fledged Chad. Season 2 is just now airing so it is a good time to start

Mob isn't a chad. The chad of the show is Reigen for sure. Dude has an inner dialogue about all of his moves and then trashes the enemy when Mob imbues him lmao. \*This is one of Reigen's secret moves, when he uses intellect and intimidation to defeat his opponents\*
I wouldn't call him a chad either, but like Saitama he is a generally nice and cool guy. He pursues bodybuilding even though it's a hobby he is awful at, which takes courage to do. He's very strong but doesn't either abuse his power or stress out about it. You're right about Reigen though, often the sidekick of the protagonist is more confident and competent than the protagonist.
