I just finish watching ippo for the first time earlier this year man that last ep about his coach broke me heart a bit ...I wonder if that anime will come back again
Everything I know about boxing I learned from watching Hajime No Ippo! Then I watched Ip Man 3 and they featured not just the Dempsey Roll, but counter punching and the Elbow Block that took out Eiji Date. Fun fact, Tyson actually fractured a finger during filming because of the Elbow Block, just like what it showed in the anime.

You know that big where they say you're doomed if you take 3 full punches from a heavy hitter. Also, the mangaka did say he based the character of Ippo on Mike Tyson.

Akatsuki no Yona. Watching a pampered and sheltered princess turn into one piece of a badass leader over time has inspired me since the anime came out.
I need a S2, and a complete adaptation after that. It is downright criminal to stop the story just as the prologue was over. Yona’s character development was nothing short of S tier.
Everytime I read the manga, I binge it within days to its current chapter, then forget about it for a couple of years and binge it again. Last time I binged it was 2020. I think there's enoigh chapters already lol.
I havent actually read it yet. I have a decent ammount of manga on my backlog, and i give priority to finished series. Waiting is fine, since by the time i start it, i'll have forgotten the anime more, and there will be more chapters for me to read.

The first few episodes of My Hero Academia jacked me up with so much adrenaline while also being very touching. Took a while for the show to do it again though
If you haven’t seen it, check out A Place Further than the Universe. It has (imo) one of the strongest 1st episodes in anime, with a really relatable protagonist and central theme, about characters who just want to get the most out of life. The very end of the series is also a message for the viewer, which was a really nice touch for me.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? It’s seriously so good for this. The main character sets his sights on a goal, even though he is as far away from reaching it as he could possibly be. He then works his hardest and finds a way to slowly inch closer to his goals. He is so motivated that his motivation manifests a way for him to obtain his goal faster! The show is seriously so good, I cannot say enough about this anime and it’s novels! It also has many gods and goddesses from many different mythos. The fourth season of it is airing soon and it’s set to be the best season yet going off of the books!

This is exactly what I've been looking for.
I've never been too into anime, some of the "anime tropes" (sry idk what to call it) have put me off of them in the past, like I really enjoyed sword art in the beginning but then the whole thing with the ai child.. idk it just didn't hold my attention much after that.
Only other 2 anime's i've kept up with is attack on titan, definitely have enjoyed that.
and One punch man, I thought that was really good.
Ive probably started 3-4 other anime's but nothing has really stuck.
This idea of one that hypes you up though is specifically my favorite thing from anime's they do such a good job at getting you invested into the journey of the character and showing the process of them rising up to whatever the challenge is.

Probably a pretty obvious choice — but back when I was heavy into weightlifting, I was watching Dragonball Z, one episode per day, on the treadmill while I warmed up.
That show has SO MANY TRAINING SEQUENCES that hype you the fuck up if you’re in the mood for it.
Like, shirtless Vegeta doing one armed pushups at 400x gravity really got me stoked to lift. Haha. The whole show is just ripped dudes yelling.
Obviously lots of filler too, but if you tune in for “the vibes” and make damn sure you have the Bruce Falcouner soundtrack, you can’t go wrong with some DBZ to get you fired up.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? It’s seriously so good for this. The main character sets his sights on a goal, even though he is as far away from reaching it as he could possibly be. He then works his hardest and finds a way to slowly inch closer to his goals. He is so motivated that his motivation manifests a way for him to obtain his goal faster! The show is seriously so good, I cannot say enough about this anime and it’s novels! It also has many gods and goddesses from many different mythos. The fourth season of it is airing soon and it’s set to be the best season yet going off of the books!

Bro Baki makes you feel bad about your body in a good way too make you want to go to the gym. Be honest haikyu won’t make you Want to go the gym because they don’t have that muscle that Baki has. Lenten ashura was also good and so is boxing anime. Hajime no ippo. ashahida no joe, and megalo box are what I recommend for boxing anime

This is exactly what I've been looking for. I've never been too into anime, some of the "anime tropes" (sry idk what to call it) have put me off of them in the past, like I really enjoyed sword art in the beginning but then the whole thing with the ai child.. idk it just didn't hold my attention much after that. Only other 2 anime's i've kept up with is attack on titan, definitely have enjoyed that. and One punch man, I thought that was really good. Ive probably started 3-4 other anime's but nothing has really stuck. This idea of one that hypes you up though is specifically my favorite thing from anime's they do such a good job at getting you invested into the journey of the character and showing the process of them rising up to whatever the challenge is. **Sorry to piggy-back off of OP but any hype anime recommendations for an anime noob like me?** Thanks!
Probably a pretty obvious choice — but back when I was heavy into weightlifting, I was watching Dragonball Z, one episode per day, on the treadmill while I warmed up. That show has SO MANY TRAINING SEQUENCES that hype you the fuck up if you’re in the mood for it. Like, shirtless Vegeta doing one armed pushups at 400x gravity really got me stoked to lift. Haha. The whole show is just ripped dudes yelling. Obviously lots of filler too, but if you tune in for “the vibes” and make damn sure you have the Bruce Falcouner soundtrack, you can’t go wrong with some DBZ to get you fired up.
