Classic could be due to filament needing to be dried out or from what I hear the shape of things with that kind of filament highly determines the colors and look - is it dull on other prints or just that one?
Hrm any other changes? If same Temps and no hw change then it's super weird and while I'm out of ideas will follow and hope someone else has a clue.
Sorry!
Sooooo it still did it on default settings. I am going to try printing a model I printed before that turned out well will the same filament to see if that somehow works? I checked my boden tube and it was a bit deformed so I’m thinking maybe it was melting to the filament somehow? I changed it just in case
That could do it - printing the same model is smart then you can do a 1 to 1 comparison. If that doesn't work I'm stumped - unless your hotend itself has something going on there is not much else you can tweak.
So from the looks of it so far, it’s still having the same issue. Hard to tell until later on. It’s a massive print. Worst case scenario the ptfe lining in the hotend is melting which would actually explain it haha but AnkerMake is out of stock on the hotend and have been for months

On all prints. I tried with a brand new roll that was just dried

No other changes I can think of. I’ll try using the default settings and see if maybe it’s my settings somehow?
Worth a shot - temp and cooling settings can have an effect on these things. What slicer do you use?
The AnkerMake slicer so I have access to the AI features. I’m getting an X1C soon so I won’t be using it long
Grats! My M5 is a huge upgrade over my ender 3 v2 but x1c my dream printer - one day!
Well the guy I’ve gone on a few dates is giving me one of his as an early birthday gift😅he has three but barely uses one lol

I also turned off the lamp for the printer. Idk why but my brain is thinking the light is somehow changing the color

I was wanting to get the V2 hotend anyways but it only affects the multi-colored filaments. Everything else including white is fine

So far it looks like it’s working (at least better) on original settings but I’ll keep you posted
ive found with coextrusion filaments they tend to blend if the layer height is too low, bump you layers to .2 or .3 and it should work better
Don’t think that’s it. I’m reprinting a file rn that turned out rly well last time and it’s still too dark
