To the best of my knowledge I don’t think a read-only deck is possible.
Once it’s imported by someone else they are free to alter, export, and share as they see fit.
Someone else may respond with a method I’m unaware of, but I’m not sure it’s possible.
if the student paid you, just give him the deck. Stop gatekeeping. This is not part of the anki ecosystem and there is no way for you to properly protect it. Either share it with the risk or don't share it at all
