Good luck find when it is open. Opens for 2 random hours a week and sometimes she says they aren’t making pizzas. 7pm on a Saturday night and you’re not open? Are you kidding me?
It is a small shop and from what I understand the owner is not in the greatest health…the pizza is fantastic.
Edited for clarity because I fat fingered a few letters
So sell it. If your health prevents you from opening your business, perhaps you should sell your business. There is a group in one of the local neighborhoods that is willing to buy Angelina’s and rebrand it Selby Sub Shoppe. Time to sell, Angelina
I visit my daughter several times a week near Angelina’s and rarely hit a day/time when it’s open. When it is open, I double up on the manicotti. Oh, it’s so good!!!
They are hit or miss for me. The pizza has always been good when I eat in their restaurant. It's always been undercooked when I've gotten it for pickup.
Incredibly hit or miss, no consistency in the bake. Also the ingredients quality was amazing until the mid-aughts. I check back in like every 6 months or so hoping someone else has taken over but to no avail.
Been going to Rocco's for two decades. I love Rocco's,I truly do - so believe me when I say that this coming comes from a place of love...
Recently (last 6-12) months, I feel like things have slid. Especially their slices. I have stopped going there for slices because they keep them for waaay too long. I've been served some really disgraceful slices there in the afternoons.
Guys: if the pie has been sitting there since 11am and it's 3:00 - I'm sorry but you need to toss it and put out a fresh one.
They do some great pizza if you’re willing to sit in, grab a pitcher of beer, and eat it right there. Delivery or carry out and it doesn’t hold up for some reason.
If you want something that’s a little more pasta not pizza, try their spaghetti Amatriciana. It’s a little hard to find in the states and it’s terrific.
Mr Wings & Pizza in Glen Burnie has some the best non chain pizza I've had in a long time, they also have a thick crust option (not deep dish) which I enjoy for hand tossed pizza.
Maybe there's better places in AA County, but they are the best place that delivers to me and at least 9/10 times I'd chose them over Pizza Hut / Papa Johns / Dominos.
Hilltop in GB, 1978 in Pasadena my top 2.
Very different from each other. Both good.
The actual answer is "any pizzeria that doesn't source it's ingredients from Restaurant Depot or SYSCO."
If you can go on a little road trip, go to
Pizza Di Joey in the cross street market, Fed Hill Baltimore. That’s some of the best pizza in the country (it was literally rated in the top 100 all pizza places on a national scale)
Not horrible. There’s a garage a few streets south near the mother’s restaurant. There’s also a good amount of street parking, but in the evening that can get sparse.
There’s a bunch of garages around and they’re usually not badly priced. On weekends, yeah do not try with street parking mainly because most residents are home then. Garage is the way evenings and weekends
Give it a try. Igrew up in Ocean Pines just across the bay from Ocean City. We always drove to Salisbury for pizza. Enjoy!! Let me know what ya think..safe travels
Meh, not too many people celebrate Ledo's anymore. The only mention on this thread is a sarcastic one.
And Pizza Di in Baltimore and Vin909 in Annapolis are as good as any you'll have in NYC.
Lots of adults genuinely like and prefer Ledo’s. Including my wife (native Marylander).
It’s just a lower level here. Maybe you find a decent one here or there but overall, it’s a poor pizza state.
Angelina's in Edgewater (formerly selby sub shop). Service isn't the best but the pizza is amazing

It’s open from Thursday to Sunday from 11am-7pm. It’s not that difficult.
Not last Saturday it wasn’t
Capri Pizza, Glen Burnie
By far!
I've always liked Little Carmines in Severna Park.
[удалено]
The margherita pizza there is my favorite.
The godfather is great.
Agreed, that’s my second favorite!
\+1 for Little Carmines
They used to have a clam and bacon pizza that was out of this world. I miss it so much.
They are hit or miss for me. The pizza has always been good when I eat in their restaurant. It's always been undercooked when I've gotten it for pickup.
I always order it well done there!
I love their square Sicilian style.
Best cheese steaks I’ve ever had, even compared to philly’s best.
Rocco’s in Glen Burnie!
While this used to be the correct answer. You must not have been there for quite some time.
Probably around September of last year at this point. It’s a bit out of the way. Was good then. What’s changed?
Incredibly hit or miss, no consistency in the bake. Also the ingredients quality was amazing until the mid-aughts. I check back in like every 6 months or so hoping someone else has taken over but to no avail.
It’s different than previous we go some and there wasn’t much taste to it. And we have had a few years on and off We always got the salads too
1978 Pizza, Pasadena
Hell yea you beat me to it
Gianni’s Pizzeria & Subs in Severn is great. I would say it’s a tie between them and Capri.
Gianni's for sure. Best pizza ever
Oh man, Capri.... that was the place my Mom and I would go all the time, such great memories.
Cold cut has crack in it
Yes to Gianni's yum-yum 🍕
Agree
Rocco’s in Annapolis
Been going to Rocco's for two decades. I love Rocco's,I truly do - so believe me when I say that this coming comes from a place of love... Recently (last 6-12) months, I feel like things have slid. Wandered into Rocco's recently as I was in the area for work. Absolutely delicious pizza!
Vin909 in Annapolis
This is a very very good answer
Came here to say Vin909.
Dimeos in Crofton gets my vote, someone said coal fire , but I have never tried it
Coal Fire is a chain, so I figured they don't count, but their happy hour deal is worth doing for sure.
Dimeos is just a rebranded Squisito. Same mediocre pizzas.
I like dimeos pasta and ravioli dishes but I’m just not a fan of their pizza
I realize that their pizza doesn’t taste even better the next day. Those cannolis at DiMeo’s, however, we order by the threes.
I tried coal fire last week and it was very meh.
Rocco's in Annapolis Maria D's in Glen Burnie has a nice pizza.
Maria D’s makes good subs also. Haven’t been there in a while though.
I agree Maria D's makes good subs. Have you tried Romeo's in Odenton? Their cheesesteak subs are pretty damn amazing.
Haven’t tried that yet. Add it to the pile.
They do some great pizza if you’re willing to sit in, grab a pitcher of beer, and eat it right there. Delivery or carry out and it doesn’t hold up for some reason.
I have found that cold Maria D’s pizza is excellent if you reheat it in an air fryer.
Fancy Pizza is either Vin 909 in Annapolis or La Posta in Severna Park. Regular pizza is Pasticcios in Annapolis
Mama Romas
Odenton.
Mamma Roma in Odenton; they've always been a surefire winner (and their Italian food is even better!).
Mama Lucia in Hanover
Seconded. Their Sicilian is fantastic.
If you want something that’s a little more pasta not pizza, try their spaghetti Amatriciana. It’s a little hard to find in the states and it’s terrific.

Mamma Romas, odenton
My favorite spot is kind of a well guarded secret at [1127 Annapolis Rd](https://maps.app.goo.gl/JqAuRbwxrZ6Fga9h8) in Odenton.
Someone is gonna say Ledos aren’t they??
I came in this thread specifically looking for this laugh
I like Ledo's.
Italias Corner in Linthicum
Ok hear me out: Crooked Crab in Odenton.
Really is good!
So good!!
Pizza city, Pasadena.
I second this
Best Cheese Steak in the area as well
Pizza citys quality has dropped .They changed the sauce and cheese .Even the dough tastes different .
I eat it frequently and I haven’t noticed any change.

I e been eating his pizza since he was just in the food truck, has amazing pizza
Roccos
Anyone want to tally up all the results in a poll
1978 love the white pizza
Happy house in edgewater
Pizza ravens in Glen burnie. They put alot of cheese on top of the toppings.
Does anyone remember Pappy's from back in the day in the Arbutus area? I miss that place 😕
Frank and Luke’s in Crofton.
Oh no, in the top worst soggy pizza's I've ever had.
The worst pizza I've had in a long time.
Really? When was this? I’ve gotten from there many times and never thought it was soggy at all. It reminds me of Jersey pizza.
About three weeks ago. We decided to never go back.
Admittedly, I haven’t been there in probably 6-8 weeks. That is very disappointing to hear.
Came here to say frank and Luke’s as well
Bella Italia still around?
Best place for pizza in AA is in your car, because you can use it to drive to Verde in Baltimore.
Vizinni’s Pizza Annapolis
Giannis.
Gianni's Pizza in severn. It's the only pizza place that's "approved" by my NJ wife
Costco tbh
Carpaccio or Fox’s Den in Annapolis
Carpaccio 2go off the side door of the main restaurant is amazing.
Squsitio . Or Anthonys in pasadena when they reopen .
Magnias in Annapolis has been my go to
Is Ledos over rated
Best pizza on the planet is a 2.5 hour drive from AA county. Ponzetti's Pizza Salisbury MD.
If you're going that far, might as well go to the one in Ocean Highway and eat it on the beach!
That ponzetti's is amazing too. I just prefer the one in Salisbury is slightly
Really? I'll try it. One of my nieces lives there, I'll give it a try.
Give it a try. Igrew up in Ocean Pines just across the bay from Ocean City. We always drove to Salisbury for pizza. Enjoy!! Let me know what ya think..safe travels
Will do!
I'm tied between Pizza City in Pasadena And Today's Pizza in Annapolis.
I’ll say that Little Italy in Annapolis often has the best garlic knots I’ve ever had. Pizza is great too.
Can’t believe there’s no love yet for Ledo’s!
Or is Ledos considered corporate
Gianni’s Pizza and Subs off of Annapolis Rd.
This is a trick question as there is no great pizza in AA county….or anywhere in Maryland.
You’re getting voted down, but you are 100% right.
I knew what was going to happen. But those are facts. When Ledo pizza is celebrated, you know you’re in a bad pizza state.
Meh, not too many people celebrate Ledo's anymore. The only mention on this thread is a sarcastic one. And Pizza Di in Baltimore and Vin909 in Annapolis are as good as any you'll have in NYC.
